He is playing a computer game or something. I just thought that was funny.
Re: Fan's Take on Cubs' Off-Season I don't blame him for exploding over the Jason Marquis aquisition. Kind of creepy though, he reminds me of Andy Milonakis
Re: Fan's Take on Cubs' Off-Season I typed this up on a forum that posed to ask "Which team had the best offseason?"<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Me)</div><div class='quotemain'>You could make a case for the Cubs with their signings of Soriano and Lilly, as well as the re-signing of Aramis Ramirez; but they lost Juan Pierre, and bringing Kerry Wood back isn't the greatest thing in the world because we know his past history, and it's not very good, so what's to brag about of Wood? The Cubs team looks good on paper, but what did we all say last year (even I, myself, a Cards fan)? We all thought they were going to be explosive, but they ended up being duds, and Wood ended up being just a log flotting down a river stream.Soriano is a great player, no doubt, but 8 years? Come on, he'll be 38 by then if the Cubs still have him, when his contract runs out; and unlike pitchers, hitters usually get groggy in their late ages (unless you're Barry Bonds, but we all know his deal.) Examples like Chipper Jones, or recently-retired player Jeff Bagwell. It all comes to you by then. Soriano will lose speed by the time he's 34 or 35. I sound like a homer now, but then, well...you'll just forget what I even said by then.</div>
Re: Fan's Take on Cubs' Off-Season You guys really suck. :thumbdn1: I saw it 3 times and it's still hilarious to me and I didn't get 1 lol.

I just watched that video last night, and it was definitely hilarious. I swear I've seen it before somewhere -- on ThatVideoSite or some place. No idea.
Re: Fan's Take on Cubs' Off-Season Kerry Wood was quite solid in the bullpen last year and hes going to be relieving this year so I would say its something to be optimistic about.

Re: Fan's Take on Cubs' Off-Season Lou Pinella is going 2 manage the cubs into the playoffs. The cubs need a second basemen bad! Is soriano staying in the OF or is he moving to 2B? Does anyone know? I mean I personally think the cubs current second baseman blows(neffi perez)! I think it would be smart of the cubs 2 play soriano at 2B
