    Obviously the Spurs would still think he's going to SA. The Lakers also felt that their presentation went "very well." I think that Pop feels another meeting is necessary to seal the deal means it's definitely a tough choice for him. It'll be interesting to see if Lillard actually gets to meet with LA.

    This whole "Lillard's flying out to save the day" business makes me a bit uncomfortable. What happens when Aldridge signs elsewhere? And how does that look to Aldridge? If he's already a bit butthurt about Lillard getting all the attention (not without some justification: he busts his ass and goes Incredible Hulk on two of the top post defenders in the league in the first two games of the Houston series, and then all anyone ever talks about is Mr. 0.9 seconds) then wouldn't it be kind of nice to stiff Lillard?

    At this point, maybe we should just make the decision easy on Aldridge, sign David West or Harris and lop side trade for Hibbert? We could put an end to the entire fiasco with that chain of events

    You're absolutely right. Lillard needs to use reverse psychology and act as if he is trying to convince Aldridge to sign elsewhere. Then Aldridge will say "Hell no, I'm signing with Portland."
