I don't understand what you find so "turrible"....looks as if I'm the only one who found it interesting and/or signidicant....or maybe you're just naysaying just for the sake of it? Sure, I can understand some not being " excited" because the Yanks nor any other A.L. East team are lighting up the league....but it is currently the closest four team race in the history of division play at this point of a season.....and we're not talking about the first two months of the season. Okay, let it ride.
Holy shit, it really doesn't take much to get you excited does it. Be honest you frequently suffer from P.E. don't you?
...uhh, yeah, I read the news...and you've also brought it up about 5-6 fucking times...and I could give 2 shits about how tightly packed the A L East is...I don't care about any other team but the Yanx...and the simple fact is that this team is still "poorly constructed" and if Cashman had actually done something meaningful during the off season, the Yanx should be 5-10 games ahead of those other teams. ...your kumbaya broken record act is way past being old hat...and stop telling other people they should feel OK about the way things are.
I referred to an article which pointed out this most cosest, latest (to this point) division race.....it wasn't about Yankee "kumbaya". Do you ever enjoy and appreciate baseball seasons as they come along...or are you always this cantankerous whenever the Yankees are NOT running away with first place? Lighten up will ya? I'm sorry, but as we speak, this is a VERY close race...and I can enjoy it. Now dump a pail of water on me....but it won't work....Lol
"and the simple fact is that this team is still "poorly constructed" and if Cashman had actually done something meaningful during the off season, the Yanx should be 5-10 games ahead of those other teams. ...your kumbaya broken record act is way past being old hat...and stop telling other people they should feel OK about the way things are." ______________________ That's YOUR opinion....and I hope you're aware the only relevant FACT of the matter is the Yanks are now tied for first place ◀ Taking THIS CURRENT state of affairs into consideration, methinks your tired old incessant crap about a "poorly constructed" Cashman team is not only boring.....but flies in the face of REALITY➡today! Lmao
Remember the operative phrase of the day: Yanks are a "poorly constructed" team.....which happens to be tied for first place. Magnificently funny.
Yeah I try to enjoy every season ...I just simply have a very low threshold for bullshit ...the same tah rah bullshit everyday...in nearly evey thread.... wake the fuck up this is not a good team.
Wake the fuk up...I have already said in another thread a while back, there is still time left in this season for the Yanks to finish in last place. So I ask - how many superior teams to the Yankees are there in this league at this time? 15? lol.......28? lol...... We play the games, we see how it goes. I can't help it if you have already ordained pending gloom and doom. That's YOUR problem.
And I've no doubt that the fact that 4 teams are within 1 game of each other before the season is even half over with be remembered down the years through history. Don't you worry blg, Ron just doesn't get it. Well, the hell with him.
I raise my hand and admit I am an O's fan BUT the competition between us and the Yanks is set explode in JULY. Tied for first..... This will be fun..
...and I've already told you that it's a fact. Look, we get it, you're a blind homer and you label those who do not share your rose colored outlook and claim there's a conspiracy against you. If you were not a Yanx fan you wouldn't be pimping them as a team to watch going into the PS...and if you claim otherwise, well, then you truly are hopelessly lost. ...As far as "doom and gloom", that's your term, not mine...but most everyone I can think of on this board said before the season began that they did not see this team accomplishing much. And what you can't seem to get through your thick fucking skull is that just because other Yanx fans are able to see this team objectively for what it is and what it isn't, that does not by default mean they are hoping for this team to fail. ...as far as "superior teams", most power rankings I've seen have the Yanx about 10th - 12th. You can take this for what it's worth. ...now, going back to your first sentence, this is what I referred to earlier as you "flip flopping" and "fence riding" all year. First you remind us of what you perceive to be positives and that this team has as much chance as any other team...then you say there's "still time left in this season for the Yanks to finish in last place"...( I assume you play both sides so you can be right no matter what happens)...yeah, you're a real oracle and risk taker. Jesus, take a fucking stand one way or the other and stop being so wishy washy.
...lol...yeah, I should be ashamed for not acknowledging the historical significance of a mediocre division that no one seems to want to win.
Anyone that believes this is a good Yankee team must be a new fan circa 2014, after having awoken from a 25 year long coma.
this is what I referred to earlier as you "flip flopping" and "fence riding" all year. First you remind us of what you perceive to be positives and that this team has as much chance as any other team...then you say there's "still time left in this season for the Yanks to finish in last place". _______________ I think you're being a bit shallow and near sighted. There's nothing contradictory about me saying the Yanks have as good a chance as any team to win this division (imo) AND yet also pointing out there is plenty of time for them (or any other A.L. East team for that matter) to finish in✴ last place. I guess this line of thinking just may have flew way over your head. ✴A couple of long term injuries to McCaan, and/orTex...possibly a couple of DLs here and there in the 2nd half...maybe instead, a couple a couple of long term injuries to Miller and/or Betances. I have said, since ST....and maintain, IF THE YANKS STAY REASONABLY HEALTHY, they'll continue to score a good amount of runs and with/hopefully a team ERA near or within the top third of the league, I think they'll WIN this division. Now get yer shinebox!
conspiracy...like the one about Moo-shell having been born Michael Robinson and played football at Oregon State before undergoing gender reassignment surgery...that kind of conspiracy?
