Maybe CJ? Do we bring back Wright? We need some players to put on the floor to keep defense honest and not swarm Dame
Chandler Parsons or Justin Anderson I really think a sign and trade with Dallas is possible if Aminu and either of the above two are included.
I'm diggin the idea of Jason Richardson, who has been lost in Philadelphia for the last two years, coming off the bench. Just bringing some timely threes and passes and good ball handling and veteran leadership for a young team would be huge. Plus, y'all remember 2010... right...? Omri Casspi would be a nice piece too
CJ probably, but Crabbe's a blank check you find on the ground. Sure you can make it out to cash and see how it goes, but if you ask for too much, it'll bounce and you're SOL.
Conmaughton's numbers show that he is an elite shooter. I think his role will be bigger than most would expect.
Our team's identity has changed because of losing Wes and LA (probably). We're much more slashing, rolling, and post-up than mid-to-long distance shooting now.
As is, this roster looks like a 30-35 win machine next year. Not quite suited to tanking for a rebuild. If we can sign a couple more value deals we might be able to get in on the inevitable sign and trade frenzy that is about to happen in thee wake of all these major moves across the league. Nene would be a decent grab for next to nothing and his scoring and passing could keep us in the hunt for the 8th seed. Cap space doesn't do you a whole lot of good when it rains 250 days out of the year and your in a small market (still a thing). When you have one star, the best way to rebuild is usually to trade several good players for a great one that is in the wrong situation and then fill in the holes later. Faried is supposed to be available and is on a reasonable contract too.
I think we have enough power forwards for now, backup PG and SF or an SG updgade would be nice, or combine some of these value contracts for an upgrade at SG
Mags, WTF are you talking about? We're not going to be competitive next year. Let's see what we have on our bench.
