Damn, you guys are so hopeless. The final 3 were obviously those 3 mentioned. Anyone could have guessed it. I think the longer this drags on the more Portland has a chance. So just be patient and relax, nothing is a done deal yet.

To the contrary of some of you, I think Olshey is a very intelligent GM and is doing a great job of getting depth and dumping the old team that is not good enough to win an NBA Championship. I think we're half rebuilding and half loading up. It's not a bad situation to come into for Aldridge, we have the extra $27 million, the young talented guys that were brought in, plus his legacy here in Portland.

Realistically, it's going to come down to what he values. I really don't think he's going to Phoenix. So I believe it's between the Blazers and Spurs, so Woj was right from the start. He's also 30, so the extra money and the 5th year might have more weight. Don't lose hope yet faithful.

Would it be bad taste to photoshop Aldridge and Paul Allen into an ISIS hostage picture?

The rationale maybe isolated to me.

But there is a human aspect to this which makes me think Portland are stronger contenders than we might think. It's a kick in the balls enough that he's leaving a fan base that dearly loves him and I believe he knows. It's another thing to string this base along. I personally don't think LA would do that. He would have made it clear at some point Portland is OUT. The fact this hasn't happened makes me think the Blazers are right there.

regardless of if he's stays or goes I'll always be pissed at him for not pulling a mentor Timmy D. and staying while trying to help us get better. At this point who really cares, all the big fish are gone. I fully expect him to be a spur next year but I will eat crow if I'm wrong. But Tim was at his recruitment meeting per sources right? was LMA at ours?

If LMA was 39 and ready to pass the torch to the hottest free agent of the moment to his team of 20 years, he probably would be at that meeting.

I like Jabari young for the fact that he is more realistic and isn't super bias towards Portland like most who have filled that job but does shit like this annoy you like it does me? I feel like his head is still with the Spurs and he forgets he is with Portland now.
