At least that's what the latest update says. It's on ESPN and that's why it is in this forum. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>From suns.com--------------------------------------Suns Travel UpdateUpdated: Dec. 22, 2006, 1:30 p.m.The Suns are now scheduled to depart from Colorado Springs at approximately 4 p.m. today. The team is set to arrive in Phoenix close to 5:30 p.m.The Suns will host the Washington Wizards tonight at US Airways Center beginning at 8:30 p.m. Check with Suns.com throughout the day for the latest updates.</div>That means they'll be at US Airways probably an hour and a half before the game. What a pain that blizzard must've been for them. If the Suns win I don't want to hear any excuses about Washington just being and average team because the Suns have had no time to prepare and will just get a short shoot-around before the game. I sure hope the streak doesn't end tonight. At least it's a little more fair since the Wizards played last night. It should still be a very good game, really high scoring. I hope Raja or Marion can keep GA from exploding again like he did on Kobe. That will be a tough match-up for both of them. Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison have both also been very good so the Suns D will be challenged tonight. Not too much to say except that I really want to watch some basketball! It's been so long without Suns basketball.

Yes.. :shifty2: But really, its gonna be a great game tonight. Two greatly offensive-minded teams battling each other, with absolutely no defense. :lol:Wizards better not underestimate the Suns from that blizzard, still extremely dangerous. I kind of want to put Stevenson on Nash so Nash can't get inside the paint to kick it out to Bell or Marion from three. Gil would guard Raja, Butler will check Marion, Jamison on Diaw, and Haywood on Amare. Haywood usually does well against the top tier big men of the NBA, so I will pay attention to that matchup as well as the PG matchup between Gil and Nash. May the best team win tonight. (let's end this streak!!!) :drunk:

So we get the streaking suns tonight (Friday, Dec 22). This should be a very entertaining game as the Suns don't play defense at all, kinda like us. Could be a game that sees 300 combined points. Should be fun to watch [IMG]

Suns have some individual players that are good on defense: Bell, Marion, K. Thomas, and Stoudemire. The Wizards are just like that, we have some good individual players that are good on defense, as well: Stevenson, Haywood, Daniels, and Butler. As far as TEAM defense goes, neither team is great at it.When I say TEAM defense, I'm talking about teams like the Spurs, or the Pistons (held Cavs to 71 pts last night).

But the Suns do play team defense with those players on the floor. They had a bad start to their season but besides those first 8 games they have been pretty good on D. I running team who likes to score as quick as possible won't lead the league in opponents points per game but they have won lately because they have kept the other team's shooting % down and that has helped while they are on their small offensive droughts that used to cost us games. And I'm not saying it's the best team defense but they play D much better than people think. Two years ago the problem was not having enough players who played D. Last year it was rebounding. Both were fixed this year.

Hmm, well I cant respond to that, because I hardly watch any other team play besides the Wizards. But I'll see tonight if I underestimated the Suns' team defense a bit. I always knew they had good individual defensive players, though. However, the Wizards are one of the very few teams in the NBA that can compete with the Suns. We play a very similar style of ball, so I dont see the Suns exploiting many of our weaknesses besides transition defense.

This is either going to be a huge blowout for the Wizards or a very close win. We're just like that against tough teams in the NBA.

I think this will be a high scoring game because that's what happens when teams try to run with us. I like watching them try...[IMG] Lets see if the little Wizards can keep up tonight.

God, Amare gets half the playing time that the rest of the starters do and well I do not like that.

Wow.. Haywood for MCP (most confident player)? He's playing some great basketball. Hope we can keep this little lead, and hopefully keep Amare in check. The Suns' players really need to start hittin' those wide open 3 balls, Nash is doing the best he can..

That's because he got two quick fouls and they want him for the rest of the game. That was a pretty nice run without both Nash and Amare though! Kurt Thomas has been great. I think we may have found our 8th man in Jumaine Jones. Good defense like James but he made a shot! I hope he just got himself more playing time because we need an 8 man rotation.

Looks like GA is making good on his promise to drop 50 on the Suns. I hope that Nash injury isn't too serious because we'll need him to finish the game off. The Wizards are leading by 7 with a great 4th quarter coming up. If you are not watching, well go turn on your TV. Marion finished off that quarter pretty well, whatta dunk!

Now he's back in the game, refreshed, and wreaking havoc. :happy0144: Don't worry about it.
