:no1: Aw...my suns....why?!Raja was off...they didn't put Amare in until too late...Bell was on Arenas for too long...some bad calls here and there (but hey, there are in every game)....great game though. Arenas was on fire.

It was still a great run even though this was a disappointing loss. I thought we had this game after Amare's monster dunk but nope.... The refs were terrible but near the end it almost evened out so it's okay...

Like that pass where Barbosa was falling out of bounds that led to the game tying 3 by Nash in regulation, he traveled big time.EDIT : man my post looked so good til I reread it...wtf is "their" meaning "there"

The Suns have a thing for having a bs call against them followed by what should be a game winning layup/dunk :no1:

I'm just saying that this is the 2nd game where they had a bad call go against them in the finals seconds of a game and yet still had the ability to win it on the other end. Tonight with Amare and Marion in the paint and the last game the Suns lost before the streak started in Utah with an horrible Okur 3 point foul followed by a missed open lay up by Barbosa.

Amare definately shoulda had that put back on that short shot by Marion. And don't think I'm being biased towards the Wizards in this one, the Suns are my #2 team. This game was heaven for me.EDIT : Hey guys, the game is coming on RIGHT NOW on ESPN again. All Suns fans, watch this. It's possible they could win this time...[IMG]

This was an excellent game, and very entertaining. Gilbert Arenas is an absolute beast, and when he's on, he's virtually unstoppable. Unbelievable, 54 points. Arenas, Butler, and Brendan Haywood did an outstanding job for Washington, and DeShawn Stevenson didn't do too shabby himself. Jamison had a tough shooting night, and Washington didn't really get much from the bench at all (they only played 3-4 players off the bench, but still). But back to Brendan Haywood, he was outstanding. He owned the glass, played real tough, and he even did a couple things offensively (which is gravy from him). Caron Butler has progressed beautifully in his career, this kid is going to be an All-Star at least once.Steve Nash lit it up as well, and hit some BIG shots. He and Arenas should have just kicked the other 8 guys off the court and had a 3 point contest, damn. Nash was unreal as usual, Marion played a very good game, Amare played pretty well. But Boris Diaw was the real playmaker tonight. He did absolutely everything on the offensive end. He really made some awesome passes. Barbosa was awesome off the bench as well. If should win 6th Man of the Year this year, and he should be a top candidate for Most Improved as well. You can just tell, his entire game has taken a huge leap from last year. It is clear that he put a lot of work in this summer.Excellent win for Washington. For an Eastern Conference team to come into Phoenix and win, it's pretty nice. Props to the Wizards, Gil especially.EDIT: Also, Suns fans... what's going on with my man Mah-cus? Why hasn't he been playing like at all lately?

I was wondering the same thing, Banks didnt play a second. ^ Anyways, if there's a team who can beat the Suns, its us. I've said it all year. We can compete with them easily. Gilbert, wow, when he banked that 3 pter in OT, I nearly jumped outta my seat. To tell you the truth, I didnt even think the Wizards would win this game down by 3, but Gilbert saved us as always. :)Butler was absloute beast tonight, as well. 34 pts and 10 rebs, he really helped Gil when he needed to as a 2nd option. Sadly, this remarkable performance was overshadowed by Gil's 54. Haywood played like a man posessed. These last two games he's been really aggressive taking it to the basket, which I would have been very pissed off at before, but now that he starts making 'em I dont really mind anymore. (how about the turnaround jumper for the AND1 in the 1st :winkglasses:)Stevenson looks sharp with the new haircut and impacted his ball game, too. [IMG] In the 1st half, the guy only scored 4 pts, but he LIT IT UP in the 2nd half. He finished up with 18 pts and 6 rebs. Not too shabby for a guy who is the 4th option on a team. Jamison was abused by the younger PHX big men, he tried guarding them, but he was way too slow and weak. However, He did finish up with 15 pts and 12 asts. He also never got into foul trouble. Eddie Jordan has to realize that Jamison CAN'T play C.. put Booth in there or something, but wow.. against Amare? All in all, I'm VERY happy we finished up this road trip 3-1. That's pretty amazing, consider we won against teams like the Lakers and (just now) Suns. This team has gained mental toughness over this road trip, they never gave up when they were down.Great win, and I'm off to Miami!

Part of that is due to D'Antoni not letting him work with Bell, Marion and Amare but whenever he is running the point the Suns offense goes MIA. Also with him and LB out there Banks has been forced to defend the 2 guards which takes away his presence on the defensive side. Add those together and you could see why D'Antoni doesn't go to him.

Well Banks has played with Amare plenty of times but has just not passed the ball well. He can't run the offense...driving to the basket has gotten him a couple good games but besides that he has been pretty bad. He gets some steals too but his defense isn't all that great and he can't shoot at all. I want to see Jumaine Jones get some minutes now.

The Wizards proved with this win that they are a serious contender in the east. I would have to say they are #3 behind the Pistons and Cavaliers, but I think they could beat the Cavaliers this year.Brendan Haywood, as others said, did have an awesome game. You can tell b/c when he fouled out, we struggled to grab an a rebound at all. I was surprised the Wizards came away with it when he went down. Mr Etan Thomas and his injury didn't help us either [IMG]

You guys have the worst bench in the league and I don't think your trio will carry you through the playoffs, especially if they face good defenders like Prince, Billups and Wallace. You need to get an extra scorer off the bench to help out.

Our bench is hurt. When everyone isn't injured, we got Antonio Daniels, Jarvis Hayes, Etan Thomas, Darius Songalia and Michael Ruffin. They aren't that great, but they definately aren't the worst. 4 of the five have started on teams before.

I'm still not taking Cleveland seriously. Their outside shooting is mediocre, Larry Hughes, Donyell Marhasll, Drew Gooden, and Big Z are as inconsistent as they come, and LeBron's shot selection has gradually gotten worse every year since he entered the NBA. This team has to find a way to shoot a tad more consistently and their role players need to find a way to play more consistently, period.

Yeah, Marcus isn't a playmaker. He is a penetrating scorer who is a very good defender, and he's lightning quick. I feel bad for him though, he needs some playing time. I hope you guys deal him to a place where he can truly show his talents (like he did with Minnesota last year). I think Cleveland could be a solid place for him. They need defense and a PG, LeBron likes Marcus Banks, he and LeBron would be jaw-dropping on a fast break, and he could develope his playmaking skills.
