Still, they didn't gut their team. Marcus Morris was a half-time player for them. A PF who shot .434 from the field. Hardly a comparison to the loss the Blazers suffered, losing LMA.
It is interesting to compare Aldridge to Love. They both did the same thing (bolted for brighter pastures), but did Far from gutted, but they did get rid of a key role player in Marcus Morris, and his departure could have a negative effect on his brother's play. The Morris brothers have always been a package, curious to see how they do without each other.
This guy wanted out of Portland let's face it. Look at all the teams he met with. Then the Suns were "close". What the fuck?! This dude completely wanted out and we may never know why.
The Blazers should sign me. With my lack of basketball skills, I may never get off the bench. But when we play the Spurs, I would tell coach to put me in the game so that I could kick LaMarshmellow right in the vagina!
And this motherfucker really hasn't said shit about the fans. No thank you or nothing. Nic batum had three tweets dedicated to us. Plumlee even thanks the fucking nets. What the fuck is going on?! This dude really hated it here
I never said the word "gutted." Why do people keep saying gutted? I said they fucked up their team, and if trading a Morris twin causes drama and inner strife, then I'd say it was a bunch of heartache with zero compensation.
You aren't getting it. They would lose both. They aren't spectacular, but that's all they really have.
Mixed emotions about this. I get that he blatantly lied to the Blazers organization and fans and for that I can never cheer him on with any other team, but at the same time he did a lot for this franchise so I cannot bring myself to disrespect him. I guess at most if I ever go to a Blazer game and see him play and the crowd boos, I would boo right along with them.
