I keep going back to the Eggers article after Nic was matched. After Neil had been on the job about a month. He points out multiple times where NO, uh, "retreated on his previous statement" or was called out as a liar. As a relatively intelligent guy, being patronized isn't my bag. But whatever. I hope he keeps doing good work as long as he's helping my team. If not, back to LA with you.

So when can I start worrying about the players, or how you didn't pay them?

For the same reason he wasn't very tight with Roy and he felt shadowed by Oden. Look at who he says where his closest friends here....Alonzo Gee? Guys who wouldn't threaten his status in the least.

Cuz real recognize real and lamarcus is the opposite of real.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if that phone call was Lillard just telling aldridge off.

"I said a lot. He said a lot"

PJ Tucker, their SF, had as many rebounds as Morris. In fewer minutes.

    LOL.

So he goes to the Spurs where he's not the main attraction either? I don't know...

The guy had felt slighted from day one. Angry that he didn't get the recognition as the #2 overall pick and Roy got all the publicity. Angry that he was the third fiddle behind Roy and Oden. And then Dame comes along and it's once again second fiddle. He doesn't put any of the onus on himself for being the quiet one. He doesn't accept that he isn't very marketable. He hasn't worked on his interviews at all. He's an introvert. He doesn't have an outgoing personality. He doesn't put himself out there, and that's fine, but he acts like he should be the #1, when in reality Dame has done more for this organization in three years than Aldridge did in nine.

Anyone notice that an earthquake hit right before the announcement?

Even mother nature is a Blazers fan.

We'll see. They added Tyson Chandler, who's been a champion. They lost Marcus Morris.

    Well, is .466 good for a PF? I don't think so :)

What made LMA's .466 OK is that he got you a LOT of easy shots/baskets. There's something to be said for that.

But you'd think a good PF might score at the rim a lot, on the offensive glass, and have a > .500 FG%.
