He could be the best move of this off season. I could see him doing great things with Lillard and Co.

My biggest worry is not all the new Blazers and how many wins they get. More worried about what Stotts will do with them. Since were re-building wouldn't now be the time to make a move with the coach?

Never been a big fan of Stotts, would like to hear who people think might be a better fit.

    P&R master.

But the roster has to be bult around his system.

NY/Lakers was a disaster - heavy Kobe/Melo ISO was unavoidable.

    P&R point guard
Bigs who can roll hard and finish at the rim
Everyone from 1-5 has to be able to shoot

    Fuck D'Antoni!

I good with Stotts for now, but if we do change coaches it's Thibs. Teach the young players how to be nasty on D. Then, in a couple years switch back to an offensive adequate coach after these players have been developed. Dame with two seasons under Thibs would be mentioned as one of the better PG's on D instead of now, being a little more than wind.

I don't like this one bit. Either we keep the coach we have right now or we go all in with Thibs

I like MD but if you fire Stotts you have to go after Thibs.

Keep Stotts, hire Thibs and call them head coach 1a and 1b

Fuck that. If you don't fire Stotts and bring in a co-head coach you've already cut off his balls and made it abundantly clear, "We don't trust you." There is no way you can reasonably expect that would turn out well?

That is not how management works. Recipe for disaster.

    It's weird.

A part of me wants to stick with Terry and give him a shot to coach through this mess. Another part of me wants another coach in place to build from the bottom up and completely mold the team to his liking. It absolutely sucks that SVG is not available.

    But JVG is.

Would he come here and try to build something long term like his bro is doing in DET?

Also, I have no zero interest in Thibs running Dame into the ground when we win 35 games.

I like Thibodeau not sure him and Stotts together would be a good idea.

Would rather just go with Thibs.

D'Antoni would bring out the best in Lillard and I think would be fun to watch.
