I think the Blazers will go with age and experience for a backup PG. If Lillard should get injured you need a seasoned player to run the offense. Tim Frazier is fine for the third PG. In fact he may end up having a better career then Cory Joseph that everybody is raving about. The team also needs some offense from whatever SF they sign or trade for. I think they have enough bigs and I also hope that Neil Olshey gets busy soon. Go Blazers.
There are a lot of Steve Blake, Ronnie Price,Eric Maynor, Gary O'Neal, Aaron Brooks, Mo Williams type of backups that could be signed but somehow I think we're looking at younger players. I'm not that familiar with them but appreciate Fez, BDSF, Strenuos and all the guys who follow the college guys in the modern era. Olshey said CJ is working off season on his pt guard skills. In the NBA I think CJ is better suited to pt guard play because of his lack of size and length. He's going to have a tough time guarding the 2 spot in the NBA but could learn to guard the 1
