The Gators (10-2) have won both games without Horford, but the junior could be missed significantly against the Buckeyes and 7-foot freshman Greg Oden.Horford spent a week wearing a protective boot on his left foot. Ugh!ODen is playing awesome on defensebut nobody's passsing to him on offensehow do you expect to win if greg doesn't touch the ball?give GO the ball!
Oden looks slow to me. He looks like he gets tired really fast. He has great timing but if he wants to be a top notch NBA Center he must work on his foot speed and quickness. Hell, he is just a freshman though. Dude looks like Lebron 4 years from now lol.
Now Oden got in foul trouble and Florda has gone on a 7-0 run :thumbdn1: greg oden makes all the differenceconley has 11 points though :dribble: :winkglasses:

the best team is winningoden is awesome though!especailly since he's playing with an injured handand he isn't being passed to
This was a GREAT win for Florida, wow. I did not expect such a blowout like that, Florida really had their way with them in that second half. Experience vs. Youth was the main factor today. - Oden really struggled. He had some outstanding blocks (his timing is incredible), but he had trouble offensively with the great defense from banged up Al Horford (love him). I know he's still hurt and he really can't use his right hand much, but I was expecting a much better game from Oden. - Mike Conley was awesome. This kid is really a poised young player. He's so heady, and that is terrific considering he's a freshman. - Hunter brought a lot of energy off the bench, I liked that I saw. Any relation to Steven Hunter? - My man Daquean Cook struggled with his shot today, but he still brought a lot of energy. He's a great scorer, and he's going to be a very good player in the future, but today just wasn't his day. - For Florida, I have to give major props to Horford. He played hurt, and he took on the challenge of defending Greg Oden, and he did a very good job. He was a beast on the boards, he played tough through the pain, he took his time offensively and got some clean looks, and he got excellent position on Oden. Way to go, Al! - Green really had a nice shooting night. He was bombing from down town (not sure how many three's he hit, but it had to have been at least 4-5), he brought a ton of energy, and he really boosted the Gators. - Corey Brewer, a kid I really like, played a good game as well. He played very solid defense, he set the tempo for them on the break, he played patiently, and he made some really smart decisions out there with the ball. - Noah really played a solid game. I don't know what his stat line looks like, but he made some big plays. He had that one post move where he knocked an Ohio State player down on the block (I think it was Hunter) and turned in for an easy two. That 3-point play was also awesome off the offensive rebound. I absolutely love his passion, and how much he gets into it. It's GREAT watching him scream and pump his fist/chest, etc. A true competitor. Awesome victory for Florida, but I did not expect a victory margin this large.
I watched a few minutes of this, but I can't stand watching NCAA basketball for some reason.Maybe it's because I don't like seeing all the missed shots. They miss a lot.
