I am a Frazier believer. I have read some comments that he is too small and will hurt us defensively. I say bullshit to that. With his quickness he can harass PG's better than we have had in a while.

Huge year for Crabbe. We need him to take the next step.

That would suck for us fans if Vonleh is out for summer league. I want to see him play damn it.

I did not want to see Meyers play in Vegas. Can't afford to have some hack trying to make a team take him out.

I actually think he could be one of our more exciting players. Time for waterbug guards to make a comeback!

I like that Leonard and Lillard have embraced their position as most tenured and thus leaders of the team. Meyers is (as CRAZY as this sounds) second-in-command. It's good for them to show up and practice with the guys they'll be going into battle with.

Frazier could definitely get some run this year. A super-quick pass-first PG on a team of athletic dunkers, I'll take that!

He definitely can rack up the assists. He had 11 in a game last year for Philly
Plus he can score enough to keep the defense honest.
And even though it was the D league, 4 triple doubles in one year is not too shabby.

In 41 games he averaged 16.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 9.5 assists. He can push the pace.

Didn't Don Nelson start a backcourt of Tim Hardaway and Earl Boykins for a while? Wonder if Nellie wants to come out of retirement...

Noah Vonleh: If there's a consistent market inefficiency in a rapidly evolving league, it's young players who will fail to produce right away in their rookie seasons. Everyone knew Vonleh would be a multi-year project, and yet the Hornets bailed on him to acquire Nicolas Batum on an expiring contract anyway. The game may be moving a little too quickly for Vonleh now, but that should change with time.

Keith Bogans: Yes, it's him. You may not recognize Bogans without the words "non-guaranteed contract" immediately preceding his name, but it's him. The journeyman will be the oldest player in summer league at the age of 35, and it's more than a little surprising that the 11-year veteran is even here. Of course, Rasual Butler turned a solid summer league into a legitimate role with the Washington Wizards last season, so you can never say never.

Meyers Leonard: The man known as Legend really came into his own late in his third season, entering the elite "180 club" of shooters after posting shooting percentages of 51/42/93. Leonard probably won't be able to maintain anything close to that level of efficiency in an expanded role with more minutes, but he's a young player worth watching all the same.

vonleh is the most interesting to me,(for what his acquisition cost us) because of his physical gifts , perhaps some perspective on his time frame to contributor can be garnered by his play. next on my watch list and secretly hoping for excess success is "patty" connaughton. we will need some overproduction from unexpected places to compete on a nightly basis when the real league games begin. I wish for frazier to dominate the other more heralded first rounders he goes up against too. too much?

To be fair, I don't think anybody expects him to go 50/40/90 in 30 mpg.

What you said, however, were that his numbers would "plummet", which connotes much more than just a normal decrease.

Is that Mike Rice taking Lillard one on one?
