Wow! That's amazing! And that officially makes Wes the highest paid undrafted player in sports history.
Me too. That was a great move by Cuban and smart move. He knows rewarding loyalty shows he's a generous owner. FAs will pay attention the next time around.
At Moda they should blow up these letters put them in a poster and hang them on the walls. His should be most honored
Yes it was. Respect and appreciation. Some guys get it. Some guys who's names are soon forgotten, don't. Thanks, Wes. We'll miss you too.
Robin is totally butt hurt. He would ignore Blazer fans and retweet NY fans. He's lost... It's a shame
Feel the same way about Wes that I did when Darrell Revis left the Jets. You may be gone but you will be back. Because this is where your heart is!
Oh %$#@! Now I have to feel bad he left. It would have been easier if he had followed LMA and RoLo down Douchenozzle drive. Seriously: the guy is a class act.
One of those times when the good guy finishes first. I've always liked Cuban/Dirk and I'm thrilled Wessy is getting maxed out.
^^THIS^^ I love me some Wes and I hate that he's with the Mavs, but I couldn't be happier for him. I'd love to see his number in the rafters someday. Now as for #13... MEH. It's amazing how a little class goes a long way with a fanbase. We're happy to see Nic and Wes go, but we're loathing LMA right now.
Congrats, Wes! He's helping the Blazers more than ever, taking up a huge piece of their cap on a role player who'll probably be injured in 2 years.
As I said on his appreciation thread, he is the Blazer I will miss the most. He was one of my top five Blazers of all time. Maurice Lucas, Buck Williams, Jerome Kersey, Duck and Wes. What did they have in common, their Heart was left on the floor. They were tenacious and were not afraid to do whatever it took help the team succeed. They put their heart and soul into the team and played so unselfishly to help the team succeed. I bet you that once his career is over, he will come back to live here and be a Blazer Ambassador for the rest of his life. West, the door is always welcome for you to come back. You will be missed and the rest of the league will be talking about you are the only player who came back from the injury you had. Olshey will regret the day for not signing you. You leadership on the team will be missed. Even thought they gave the Captain to LMA, you were the real leader of the Blazers.
