Anyone listen to this music? I'm really digging it. Very complicated songs but sound really good. Great guitar player along with odd time signatures and etc.

They're a good band, but the lyrics are very hard to get into because of their fantasy-nature. "The Odyessy" is a fantastic song and record.

I will get that cd next. I got "V" and "Divine Wings of Tragedy." 'Of Sins and Shadows' is one of my favorites of theirs.

Who are they comparable too? I've never heard of them, not sure what genre it is.

I guess the most popular band they sound like is early Metallica. They also sound like Yngwie Malmsteen, Zack Wylde, and Dream Theater

They're a progressive-metal band. They play heavy songs with melodic and even orchestrational elements to them, and throw out some pretty complex stuff. For instance, "The Odyssey" song I was talking about is over 20 minutes long, and covers epic, metal, and soft genres of music.

Yeah some of their songs get really long but they got some short songs as well. For instance the one I mentioned up above. I'm a big Yngwie fan so that is why I like Symphony X. Classical influenced rock.

They're not bad, a little heavy and fast for my taste, but not bad.
