With all due respect to Scherzer, Grenke is the best pitcher in baseball right now.

I wonder how much it's going to cost LA if he decides to opt out of his contract.

...of course, he'll likely opt out before he re-ups...because I doubt LA approaches him before then. And I doubt his agent would go for it either.

...but if he does go that route, he'd also be turning his back on $77 Mil for the last 3 years of his current contract.

Greinke turns 32 after this season, I'd look vey close at an extension, Sabathia was OK until he got his. From what I understand there is going to be a glut of good pitching after this season.

Yeah, but he's under contract for 3 more years... So he would be 35 after that contract is up... I'm thinking he opts out and signed for those 3 plus at least 3 more... maybe 5 more... probably back with LA

Winless in 7 games, and bearing a 2.28 ERA......

Zack threw a 1 Hitter last night, over 8 IP, to finally get a Win.

Puig going into last night game, had but 2 RBI's in his last 23 pitiful games. He gained 3 RBI's last night, a solo Hr included, which amounted to 5 in 23 games. 14 RPI's on the entire year. The little big leaguer, who wants to be the Le Bron of MLB........bwahaaaaa

IMO, Zack may become a FA, but no one can pay him more, even give him an increase, IF he will stay; than Guggeniheim. NTM- the TWB Cable Contract provided 230$$ Million to a bloated payroll, which makes Guggy even fatter a Cat.

    This Story leans........?

Greinke and Bob Welch have alot in common. In the midst of Bob's Bums career, he went 9 games giving up but 1 run per game. In return, He got not a single run in support.
2ndly- both lived at the knees.......
