I do not discriminate. Mostly cork, though. With the discounts I get (for volume, of course), can't afford to go for the cheap shit. But the cheap shit I drink is better than most.
I'm just starting a two year program in enology (winemaking) and viticulture (vineyard management). I'm working in a tasting room just to learn the ropes, have plans to work harvest and crush too. Eventually, I'm not certain, but likely become a winemaker after school, and eventually my own winery.
Ha! Remember the days of Boone's Farm, Thunderbird, and Night-train? A poor college student's Saturday night!
Wonderful! Has he looked into the program at WWCC College Cellars in Walla Walla? I'm extreemly impressed so far. If he is interested and wants to chat about it, pm me and I'll give you my info. It's a pretty fun life, working in wine.
Yep. They (crack and heroin) destroy lives. My uncle did both for several years until his brain became mush. It's scary seeing a shell of a person sitting there drooling 24/7. Btw, Mags, I'm sorry to hear that about your brother.
Yep that's exactly what happened. They had to prescribe dopamine pills because his brain couldn't produce it on its own anymore
Drink coffee? Smoke cigs? Eat too much sugar? Everyone has a drug of choice. What's yours? Walk a mile in someone else's shoes...
Why should I stop? Call a spade a spade. Im a fat ass and im called a fat ass on a regular basis, do I blame others? No. Im the one that loves beer and pork.
None of these posts address whether millions of Americans should serve decades in prison because of this issue...whether we should live in freedom, or in a prison nation...whether even if you want them in jail, whether the sentences are way too long...whether research should be legalized...
I say let people kill themselves, if they want to self destruct thats their choice. I also dont think it should be anyone elses problem to fix them. Charity is fine but forcing tax payers to pay for rehab would suck. The bottom line is if someone does t want help forcing the issue wont help them. My biggest gripe with rich people is give me the money you waste and just start sucking dick for it sooner. Ill put it to far better use, like trips to the 3rd world to remind myself how great life is not being poor and/or addicted to heroin.
I'm pro choice and I agree that folks are going to poison themselves because they choose to. I think jail is the wrong answer for most non violent problems but hard work is an option. Junkies are generally lazy.
If harmless drugs were legalized by the lying government, people would trust it when it says which drugs not to use. Some illegal drugs (like needle drugs) are addictive, while others (like psychedelics) aren't. When people discover that some are harmless and that the government has lied to them, a few of those people then think that maybe all drugs are harmless. With this absence of reliable authority, the only way to know for sure is to try it themselves. The confusion is caused by those in power, and the superlong prison sentences they legislated in the 1980s, which also made research illegal. For example, Republican Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert's main cause in life was to destroy the hippie drug movement by putting people into prison for decades. I'm glad to see that bastard's current humiliation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dennis_Hastert#Allegations_of_sexual_abuse
While I have no doubt Odom is living (and dying) in drug hell, that picture by itself provides no evidence of a connection to him. It could be any random picture. "Journalism...", LOL.
