Florida State and Alabama will open the 2017 season in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta, the schools announced Thursday. The marquee matchup between two of the past three national champions is set for Sept. 2, 2017, in the Atlanta Falcons' new stadium. "This is a great opportunity to open the 2017 season against an outstanding Florida State program," Alabama coach Nick Saban said in a statement. "Jimbo [Fisher] has done an excellent job there and this will provide a great challenge for our team.
