I seem to remember Curry being a piss poor defender his first 2 years in the league. I could be wrong though. I also believe he has the drive and dedication to work on his defensive game each and every year

I've always been more of a Flying Spaghetti Monster fan myself, but to each their own.

He also played for Donnie Nelson IIRC, so some of his early career failings had at least something to do with system.

Wait so if OKC is determined to match the offer why haven't they? And if their inaction in unloading contracts doesn't tell us anything, then I'm confused.

I wouldn't doubt that OKC will take until Sunday. Many teams wait a couple of days, just to stick it to the team that signed the player to the offer sheet.

Then theyre pretty damn stupid if they think theyre sticking it to us. We have like $28 million in cap space.

They all wait until the last minute. I honestly can't remember the last time an RFA wasn't matched at the last minute.

Well, Hibbert never signed the offer sheet, but Indy basically told the Blazer's they'd be matching, so he never came to sign it. I believe he was at the Indy airport heading here when Indy told him not to bother.

Waiting till the last minute doesn't really hurt us. We have other cap space and it's not like there's a bunch of other guys we want to sign.

    Kanter/Plumlee/Kaman/Davis/Leonard/Vonleh/Aminu

Kanter pushes Kaman to the four. He is good from midrange and can get his own shot. I don't know how Davis and Plumlee fit there, but I can see either Vonleh or Leonard playing the three.

One way or another, we'd be a big team, but we might not get the perks (defense, rebounding, second chance points and easy looks —all of the things that our perimeter offense seemed to lack.)

I was constantly disappointed by our rebounding last year. The stats don't show it.

    Pelicans want him.
He wants to sign a contract already and wants to sign again in Philly for some reason.

Whatever the case, he was a poor defender and learned to be a damn good one. I have no doubt Dame can get to that level with his determination and work ethic
