why not 2 women, facing each other.....? Prior to STS-51-L Launch and Failure Incident, no other event other than the Assassination of JFK, had as rapid spreading of a dissemination of news, as the OV-099 Incident....... In the case of all women noted, the minorities were suppressed, oppressed, no doubt, yet didn't have to give their lives, for their life's work for civil rights. While 2 Women, gave their lives, to make the World a better place, and in lieu of suppression, they were victims of US destruction, annihilation, due to some idiots pressing, when they should of backed way off.........those idiots, were slaves of the dollar with Million $$ losses per each day, that Launch was delayed.......victims of Greed and flawed idiotic decisions of just a couple of Men in Power.......... Christa McAuliffe, and Judith Resnik. Gave their lives, to make the Nation and World a better place. While engulfing 20% of school children viewing audience on top of such.
Isn't it just a bit ironic, the first American woman in space was named Sally Ride? . "Ride Sally Ride" (Mustang Sally) ➡ The great Wilson Pickett.
Even at my "advanced" age if I had that guy in front of me I'm make a great attempt to kick his ass all over the street. One thing I hate is an ingrate and Bieber is right up there with the worst of them!
Absolutely no anyone reminding us daily of slavery or civil rights movement. I have a crazy idea....how about Alexander Hamilton?
How about Frederick Douglas, (1818-1895); seems sooo many have forgotten of his ties to most of Our Forefathers. He escaped from Slavery and became an outspoken critic on abolition. Even J. Brown spent the night at Douglas home, just prior to Brown launching his attack at Harper's Ferry, which Douglas did NOT agree with.. Without his approval, Douglass became the first African American nominated for Vice President of the United States as the running mate and Vice Presidential nominee of Victoria Woodhull on the radical and visionary Equal Rights Party ticket https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_Douglass He not only was an abolitionist, but also a strong voice for Women's Suffrage; was sent to Ireland to "cool off", and became involved with Ireland's Potato Famine........ However IMO, Lincoln's biggest mistake was not giving all Slaves a One Way Ticket back home........
And the reason Lincoln didn't send the ex-slaves back to Africa, and rightfully so, was because Lincoln recognized and thanked them for fighting for the Nation.....and few thousand also fought for the Confederacy as well as Jews. The man ( Lincoln) had too much self respect, sense and intelligence.
