Even after reading through this thread, I find myself with no expectation whatsoever. He could be our best big man, our worst big man, or any point in between. The guy is more "mystery" than "legend."
also to add he wins the EOY because neil quit the job before the season and paul hired meyers to be his GM, and meyers wins the 6th man because of his legendary bench celebrations
Someday, someone is going to make a prediction like this, and it will mostly come true coincidentally.
Meyers started the season rushing his shot, got injured, slumped, then had some nice games, now injured and out for the season. Yeah I guess no one had that in the pool. We need Meyers big body against the few true big bangers in the league, he's still a better rebounder than he gets credit for, and his presence on the perimeter and setting screens facilitates the offense. Meyers is a late bloomer with a basket of abilities and a good attitude. He'll be back in a Blazers uniform next season.
