What do you guys think of him? It looks like he could be a pretty solid NBA player, I mean he has a good shot.

Screw Chris Lofton. He's the reason that Tennessee beat Texas today :(But really, he's a great ball handler that can shoot for days.

He's pretty good on offense. He's got a great knack for drilling the big shots. Thats pretty much all I know about him I have only seen him play 3-4 times.

He played great in the game against Texas. That's all that I've seen of him this year! Solid ball player in my eyes.

Lofton can hit the 3 as good as anyone. He's not trigger shy. He doesn't hesitate. He hits big shots, he'll shoot over anyone, and make it. (37 footer over Durant). And that's just shooting. If you guard him too close and give him any kind of angle, he will drive right by you and find a way to the hoop and hit the layup. He's a good ballhandler, and a good defender. He gets in the passing lanes and stips the ball from opponents. He's always active and wants the ball in his hands whether he's going to score or pass it off for an assist.Louisville or Kentucky didn't recruit him because they said all he can do is shoot. He's a great shooter, but he's been out to prove them and everyone else wrong. He's a great all-around player and will continue to get better. I think and I hope he will stay one more year, then when he comes out, I think he'll be a solid first rounder and a good NBA player.

Well, I used to be skeptical of him, cause he used to just be a shooter, but hes now proven to be a scorer....theres a major difference. Now with his size, he needs to learn how to run the point, and if he does that, he can become a very good NBA player...Terry, Gordon..etc. Right now, hes okay, but he still needs to develope more before hes a NBA 1st rnd pick IMO.

He can run point. The Vols just don't need him to run point. He has good passing skills.

He has the skills to go higher, but just not the hype. He needs to stay one more season and get more hype.

Im still not bought on him going that high. He might have those PG skills, but he needs to display them more for scouts to start looking at him.

I think he's one of the best shooters in the country, no question, but I don't know how well he'll succeed in the NBA. The kid can shoot, sure, but what else can he really do? He's really an undersized shooting guard, he's about 6'1'' or 6'2''. He can handle the ball, but he doesn't have point guard insticts. I don't think he's that good a defender either. He has quick hands, but don't be fooled by his steals stats. I don't think he's going to convert himself into a very good NBA player.

I think he'll make it in the league, sure, but he will always be a bottom of the bench type of guy. He's another short shooter with a lack of potential as an NBA point guard. I don't see a great future ahead of him in the pro's, but I definitely enjoy watching him at Tennessee.

He's probably too small to be a legit scorer at the next level, because although he can shoot and penetrate, you have to realize that the athletes that'll guard him at the next level are on a completely different plane than you find in college athletics. I love the kid, and I hope he can develop better point guard skills in order to make it in the L.

I think offensivly he's NBA material, but I'm not sure every night if he could guard some of the other guys in the league.
