....with the worst record this season? I'm not sure which team will yet, I'm still deciding between the bobcats, sonics and Knicks.
No, I don't think New York will end up with the worst record.I'm guessing Memphis or Charlotte. Or Boston if they don't step it up.
Well if something happens, and it shows that last night's Philly win over Boston was a fluke, then I'd include them in there; but right now I think it's a toss up between Memphis and Charlotte, because Pierce will be back in a few weeks, and we all know what the Atlantic Division means; sort of like a "never die" division. You are never dead in there this year, until the regular season is done, pretty much thus far.
I think that the 76ers could be in the chance of having the worst record, its either that or they need to re group big time...
I think Memphis will turn it around very soon, so not them.N.Y is finding ways to win ball games, so I'm guess I'm going with the Bobcats on this one.

Although their luck, they'd get the worst record, and still not draw #1 in the lottery.
I think that the obvious choice is the 76'ers. They dont have a go to scorer, and their best player is Iggy or Andre Miller. You can say all you want about them beating the celtics, but they C's didnt have Pierce or Wally; their two leading scorers. I think that Miller could do a good job with the sixers, but they dont have a legit scorer. I see that being a problem. In the beginning of the season, I picked Seattle to have the worst record in the league, but I dont think that is how its looking....who knows.
It's too early too tell, I'd like this thread to be revisited at the All-Star break. So many teams are so close together (cough cough... Eastern Conference... cough cough) and so many teams have losing records right now. I will say this though: you guys are saying Memphis, I don't think so. Pau is back now, they will pick it up a little bit. I don't expect them to go on a big run and make the playoffs, but I don't see them finishing last either (unless that crap about Pau maybe wanting out is true, and they deal him for expiring contracts, picks, and a young player or two. <-- which I don't even want really talk about, but I had to say it incase).Again, this should be revisited at the All-Star break. It's way too early right now and too many teams have big injuries right now.

LOL oh my beloved sonics I cant see the BOB cats getting a worse record thatn us - unless morrision starts playing alot better!

The Celtics WILL NOT have the worst record in the NBA. Pierce will be back soon and everything will be fine.I say the 76ers, I think, even though its still early. They don't have a dependable scorer. AI2 and Miller are good, but they've never carried the load before and until I see what I can do when they're the top options within the offense I'm going to say they're going to be the worst in the league. But CB32 is right, revisit this later in the season when people are back from injuries and rosters are pretty much set.
the memphis grizzlies will definately not have the worst record, they just got pau gasol back so they will start to win some games. they wont smell the playoffs but they will be far ahead of the worst record in the league
