Re: Best player you've ever played against? if you've ever played against anybody who made it to the college or the NBA (they dont even have to be that great) or even just high school phenoms who never made it in college or the prosshare it
Re: Best player you've ever played against? Good thread idea. The only name I can think of right now, without doing any research or anything, just off the top of my head is Joel Rowe. He is at Longwood now, not a big school and isn't playing a lot. But he was on my team my sophmore year.
Re: Best player you've ever played against? Well, I went to school with the #43 prospect in the nation last year. His name is Josh Lomers and he is 7 foot 1 and he is playing for Baylor. I played in the Kingwood Classic last year and we played agaisnt a Basketball Academy from Indiana. I am almost positive that they had at least 3 D1 prospects. I also played against a guy that is playing for UNLV.
Re: Best player you've ever played against? An alumni from my school who graduated last year. He is a freshman in a small college. I played against him during the summer.http://www.stevensducks.com/sports/mbball/...?PLAYER_ID=3788
Re: Best player you've ever played against? I played against the number one ranked 7th grader in the nation recentleyhe wasn't all that good
Re: Best player you've ever played against? In basketball, Michael and Sean Morris, as well as Charlie Jones, Timir Patel and Nick Wise.Michael and Sean Morris played at Colorado State (Sean is still there I believe), and their father played in the NBA for the Utah Jazz (he was part of their two NBA Finals teams). Michael was also in SLAM Magazine a year or two ago. Charlie Jones also went to Colorado State, but he wasn't that great. Timir Patel was a tall ass dude who went to Prarie View, and then transferred (I think to University of Houston, but I'm not sure). Nick Wise was rated the #1 freshman point guard in the country back in his freshman year of high school (went to my school), and then transferred at the end of the year. He committed to ASU (I think it was ASU) in his freshman year. For football I have a bunch of high school friends who play collegiate football... mainly at the University of Texas, Baylor and Texas A&M.I also have some friends who run track & field in college.
Re: Best player you've ever played against? I have not played with anyone that old really.I played with a bunch of adults but they are not NBA or College type. But when I get a shot to kill the big guys, I will share for sure.
Re: Best player you've ever played against? I played against Pittsburgh Panther Power Forward Chevy Troutman a few times, I personally think he will make an NBA roster some time soon. He averaged 15 points in 8 rebounds in college, He's really good.http://pittsburghpanthers.cstv.com/sports/...n_chevon00.html
Re: Best player you've ever played against? I liveed in a small town so I was pretty much the only one who beat me! LOL I did play alot of rep ball, but before I did my knees I was ok
Re: Best player you've ever played against? Shawne Williams....he was like a freshman in highschool, and it was right before he left for prep-school. I have a friend whos neighbors with his uncle or something. He was at his uncles(or whoever it was) and me and my friend played against him. We were really just shooting around...but hey...it was Shawne Williams(of course I didnt know he was going to be a NBA player 5 or so yrs later)
Re: Best player you've ever played against? And my brother played with Jeremy Hunt on several occasions when he got suspended from the Memphis Tigers team.
Re: Best player you've ever played against? Michael Jordan, you know, back in the day we used to go at it all the time. :winkglasses: Haha no, but I need play at Tim Thomas gym last year. He did a little camp thing there last year.

I saw him play twice for Humboldt Kingwood in the 5A state tournament. He was so quick and had a great jumpshot. I think that his height is one reason his stock kinda went down over the years. He commited to Arizona im pretty sure, but I dont think he is playing at all....

Is it in a nationwide league like AAU or something? Because down here there is Gold Crown which is only in Denver. I highly doubt he was the best in the nation.2) How old are you? If you are his age you are bullshiting us in some way. 9th grade, I maybe believe you.I played a mess around game with Nick Fazekas if the counts. He went to the high school by me and I was at a bball camp there and he was one of the helpers and after it when I was waiting for my ride to show up I did. He is a senior at Nevada and this year is averaging around 21 points and 12 rebounds. He is tall, but really skinny for his size. He is almost a guaranteed 1st rounder. A while back there was an article about him and his family in ESPN the Mag.
Re: Best player you've ever played against? I played a bit of fullcourt five on five with chris kaman this summerI played one on one with leon powe a couple years ago at a Cal camp too. He was dropping 180s on it like it wasn't no thing.

Re: Best player you've ever played against? I played an all-league player who ended up going to st. mary's on a scholarship. I defended him only through a couple plays on mismatches. but in that game, he had 43 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. He also had 7 steals, and 4 blocked shots. but whats crazy about him is that it didn't even look like he was trying!!
Re: Best player you've ever played against? I played with, and was coached by, Mike Nardi (PG of Villanova). This happenned at Kevin Boyle basketball camp (coach of St patricks HS in NJ, one of the best HS's in the country).
Re: Best player you've ever played against? My basketball coach back when I was in elementary. He goes to Queen university and he's a starting PG for his team. He's very quick and has many ankle breakers. His shot is very accurate. sinks like 90% of them during practice and stuff.
