Far and away the Northeast. No team has a losing record int he division. Boston is playing as good as anyone, Montreal and Buffalo are legit, and Toronto and Ottawa are two good teams. Then you have 3 good teams in Anaheim, Dallas, and San Jose, and 2 sh*tty teams in Phoenix and LA. The Northeast has a combined 212 points between all five teams, and so does the Pacific. The Northeast has also played 4 less games combined, so assuming we make those games up, the Northeast would probably end up with more points in those games. Also look at the strength of conferences. The West is filled with mediocre and losing teams, while the East has only 2 bad teams, while the West has 4-5 bad teams. You have to play in SOS, because the teams in the Pacific get to play the two bad teams each 7 or 8 times a year or somethign (correct me there if I'm wrong), while the Northeast has to play all good teams, because there are no bad teams int he division. Boston is out of a playoff spot by 1 points, and Toronto and Ottawa are out by 2 points. Phoenix and LA are 9 and 11 out respectively and are arguably two of the worst 3 teams in the conference, and most likely both bottom 4-5 in the NHL. Northeast > PacificConsider yourself owned.
