Re: It's confirmed: Yao out Six weeks http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireStory?id=2748764First McGrady (what's new?), and now this. Yikes.
Re: It's confirmed: Yao out Six weeks Uh oh. The Rockets better hope T-Mac comes back soon. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Lottery bound?</div>It's not like Yao's out for the year, so they're obviously not loterry bound.
Re: It's confirmed: Yao out Six weeks Damn, we have the worst luck ever. Our two superstars injured. Being a rockets fan is so frustrating. Injury problems EVERY year.
Re: It's confirmed: Yao out Six weeks This is just terrible, Yao was having such a good season. Considering McGrady has yet to return to the lineup, Houston will have a real tough time winning. Anyway, here's my blog post about this: <div align="center"><span style="color:#FF0000"><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%">Yao Out 6+ Weeks With Broken Bone In Leg</span></span> </div> In Saturday?s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, Yao hurt his knee early in the game (mid-first quarter) by getting his leg caught under Tim Thomas after attempting to block a shot. Tests were run, and it turns out that he fractured the bone under his right knee. It is reported that Yao will miss at least 6 weeks with the injury. The organization is hoping that surgery won?t be needed, but if it is, a procedure will most certainly be done. This is really a bad time for the Rockets. Yao has been playing extremely well this season, and Tracy McGrady has yet to return to the lineup. The Rockets are really counting on the health of Tracy McGrady for the next two months or so. Without either McGrady or Yao, it will be very tough to continue to win in the tough Western Conference. Let?s hope Yao is okay, and let?s hope McGrady comes back soon.
Re: It's confirmed: Yao out Six weeks Wow that really sucks, without Tracy and Yao that team pretty much blows. They're such a great duo too, just these damn injuries, it sucks.
Re: It's confirmed: Yao out Six weeks When's TMac gonna get back on the court? It's 2005/06 all over again....They are going to suck while TMac and Yao are both out.

Re: It's confirmed: Yao out Six weeks This will let the other west teams (8-13) catch up to both HOU and DEN.
Re: It's confirmed: Yao out Six weeks This is a huge blow to Houston. They really need someone to step up big. When is T-Mac coming back? I heard he had back problems, does he still? No matter what they need someone to step up.

Re: It's confirmed: Yao out Six weeks I am going to have to disagree with a lot of you. I dont expect Houston to have a significant drop off. Yes they will be a little worse whiel TMAC and Yao are not on the court. But once Tmac is back I expect him to take over. I still dont believe in Yao, mostly cause I hate him , but I still dont see that fire that spark that a true superstar has.

They lose their 2 best players and you expect them to be a "little worse." Come on, also I think you set your expectations too high for Tmac. He came back to start the season and wasn't that great. His game picked up a little then he suffers another setback with his back. To say he's going to come back and take over. I mean let's be realistic.
Re: It's confirmed: Yao out Six weeks This is bad, This is reaaaaal bad. Once McGrady comes back, He better fucken play his heart out...Bonzi will also need to step up for us also. Things are going sooo rough man..
Re: It's confirmed: Yao out Six weeks Ouch...this is a very tough injury for Houston to handle right now with Tmac having back problems and all. You can't help but think of last season when the Houston Rockets ball club were in a similar position. Except now, Yao is out for at least 6 weeks. Can the young Rockets respond to the pressure...we will have to wait and see.

He's not a star player, and the Rockets are just as good without him.
