I seen some nice things from him but I think he suffers from some tunnel vision. That could be due to being so focused and wrapped around the idea of just making it. Or it could be an actual flaw. We won't really know until time goes on. But I did see somethings I liked from him skill wise. Shooting not one of them. But handles, Beating his man off the dribble and he had a couple of nice passes. But he is nowhere close to being ready. And actually for me, I almost wish it was four years earlier. The issues and rawness we are seeing are things we see from kids coming out high school. Not someone that has some experience playing organized ball at the age of 22. I wish he was more seasoned. It could be a sign of things to come.
Guilty...lol. That turned into 200+ pages and ended up with the Zach Randolph trade. People that come to the Draft parties have heard about how that all came about. As for deals, I have a feeling there will be one come middle of August.
Ya, my infamous "deal coming soon" thread was on a different forum. I forget how many pages, but so, so many replies and views, like 40k or something like that. I caught grief for it, for some reason, but in reality, it was only 21 days later that Zach got traded. To this day i have never understood why I dver got grief, but oh well. Sounds like maybe you and i got some similar info
I'm starting to see Olshey's brilliance, signing a know-nothing high schooler, worse than Telfair with a bad body already set at age 22. --Montero will be a trade chip in a larger trade, if John Nash ever becomes a GM again. Genius! Olshey covers all the bases. Every contingency.
Why don't you debate the merits of the argument instead of posting fluff like this to up your post count? Keep Bullshit drivel like this to yourself.
Id like to see Vonleh and Montero coached and worked on together. I think that duo can be a young powerful picknroll/picknpop combo that could be a huge bench strong point this coming season. Obviously both have much to improve on, but both also seem to have a huge ceiling capable of potential starter quality or more. With the right mentoring/coaching, they might be part of our future with Dame, CJ, Leonard and potentially Plumlee. The combined potential is extremely impressive to me.
