Yes they do & they STILL suck, all the more reason to cut one of them. My choice would have been Ryan.
This fukn Ryan guy just HAS to have photos of Cashman and Girardi in compromising positions. However, to play devil's advocate.....the Yanks (and most other teams) rather have a known mediocre AT BEST veteran who will never be any better who gladly accepts his role as a sporadic back-up player as opposed to having a more talented young player in that role who will not be getting enough playing time to progress. In Ryan's case.....I would at least prefer a speedy type "scrub" who can at least steal a base or two or maybe a guy who can hit a long ball on occasion. Ryan just doesn't do ANYTHING well, or have any exceptional skill at anything concerning speed or with the bat....and according to his career defensive FLDG % and range stats...he isn't anything special. There has to be some younger journeyman type in the system with some speed and/or the ability to hit a HR here and there.....or at least possibly hit in the .240s Jeez
