Make sure you do the $20 trick for both places.

Tell me when you're there in October, so we can schedule our trip away from yours! I kid, I kid.

I believe our trip is during the second half of October. Staying on the strip fo' sho'!

What made you decide against it? I'm thinking about it.

Yeah,I've always been curious about it, but I'm an accountant, I'd be annoyed if they kept the $20 without upgrading lol

Look for a Groupon for the giant ferris wheel. Each pod thing has a bar in it and it's all you can drink while you're on it.

I stayed at The Trump International when I was down there. Loved it. And I disagree about Margaritaville. Great place to have a GIANT margarita!

Just got back from Vegas on Thursday night.

We got comps through myvegas for:
    2 free tickets to Jabbawockeez
2 free breakfast/lunch buffets to Luxor
2 free breakfast/lunch buffets to Monte Carlo
1 Free night stay at Monte Carlo
2 free dinner buffets at Mandalay Bay

And had three free nights to Excalibur through credit card points.

It was such a good trip. Ended up breaking even gambling wise, the buffets were all delicious. The Mandalay Bay one was the best. It had bottomless bud light, wine and champagne. Good snow crab, prime rib, and a bunch of different food. We got upgraded to fourth row for the Jabbawockeez because it wasn't a full house for free. When we checked into the Monte Carlo, the lady at the desk was super nice. She let us check in early, and let us choose the view we wanted from our room, so we picked on that was of the strip.

The mlife people at Mandalay Bay were kind of rude. She definitely wasn't friendly when we redeemed the Mandalay Bay buffet comps, and came off extremely rude. Other than that, everyone at mlife was ridiculously nice.

My wife and I also saw Britney Spears, which was a good show. A packed house. She lip syncs during the show, but her choreography and dancing was great. She's back in shape now too so I got a nostalgia boner, Nice!
Already working hard on myvegas for our next trip.

Making a trip for a bowling tournament at the end of May. How much are you having to play myvegas to get rewards?

It takes awhile to get everything built up. If you started today you might be able to get two comp buffet passes to the Luxor, rewards are usually cheaper if you're staying at a mgm resort

Not much at all. I only heard about MyVegas a month before I went down in Jan and had enough points for 2 for 1 buffet, show and $39 suite. Just collected points a few times a day and slotted for a little bit at night.

The Gordon Ramsay Steak House at the Paris is really good, but really expensive. Had the beef wellington, it was amazing.

    Going to Vegas in October.

    Using MyVegas points for:

    2 free nights at Mirage
    2 premium tickets to Zumanity
    2 dinner buffets at Mirage
    2 dinner buffets at Aria
    $50 drinks at NYNY
    $50 drinks at Monte Carlo
2 free nights in suite at Red Rock Resort
4 free buffets at Red Rock Resort
8 free drinks at Red Rock Resort
2 free passes to the House of Blues Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay
(Might dump the Mirage Buffet if we can get tickets to Love.)

Got the Caesars Palace platinum card and with it got:

2 Happy Hour rides on the High Roller (it's a giant ferris wheels with a bar in each car/pod, great view, unlimited drinks for 30mins.)
2 free dinners at Caesars Palace Bacchanal Buffet

Used my CC points and the Landry Card to get a deluxe suite in the Rush Tower for 2 nights at the Golden Nugget. ($200 but that is all we're paying for the 6 nights we're in Vegas.)
We plan on doing most of our gambling in downtown/Fremont Street, the slots are looser and more importantly Blackjack still pays 3 to 2 instead of the ridiculous 6 to 5 on the strip.

I think they are even looser at the station casinos. Have fun! Sounds like a great time. Myvegas is awesome and Vegas is the best vacation place in the USA imo

We're spending 2 days on the strip, 2 days on Fremont Street and 2 days at Red Rock but those 2 days we're renting a car and going to the dam and maybe even pahrump to see where Art Bell lives.

That sounds lame as fuck. Your time would be better spent bro'ing out in a urine infested pool with bros and sluts.

I went to his casual sit down place in Heathrow twice, and that was enough for me to sear off Gordon Ramsay restaurants. I went to STK last time I was there, the steak was pretty good and the eye candy was better. We were there for a bachelor party and the bachelor got a $240 Kobe Steak that we all had to pay for. fucker. haha

Going to Pahrump is great. You can also see where the largest population of 250lb skanks wearing sweats and no makeup is located. Good times.

Having been to Pahrump numerous times when my wife had to drive there on business I can say I wouldn't waste a minute of a trip to Vegas on it.

I haven't been to most of the things on your list except bacchanal buffet. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
