Fast salary shows me early on that the organization values him a lot.

I like Fast. I think he is a good solid responsible player. I would like him more in a 4th line role right now, but overall I like his game. He will be a solid PK guy for us next season, and maybe can put a few goals on the board as well.

I didn't think he was bad playing with Stepan and CK. his defense led to offense.. But idk what to expect with him on offense

Our Right Wingers (with the exception of Zuuc) are up in the air. Miller, Fast, & Etem can each end up as 2nd, 3rd, or 4th line Right Wingers on this team. AV will be moving these guys around for sure until he finds a fit and the right chemistry. Spin the wheel and see where they land. It's anyone's guess at this point. I can't wait for Training camp and Pre-Season.

That said, I think Fast may be a decent fit on the 3rd line. Some say he did a god job on line #2 in the Playoffs. Others think he is only equipped for 4th line duty. I'll take a happy medium and put him on the 3rd line. He has too much offensive upside for 4th line, but too little for 2nd line. Recall during the regular season when Fast was moved up to third line to play with Hayes for a few games. I think it was maybe 3 or 4 games. Fast scored twice, including a spinning wrist shot top right corner off a feed from Hayes.

It really is tough to predict.

Ideally you'd want Fast on a 4th line where's there's not too much on his plate, but he held his own this year. Lindberg imo has definate ability to play 3rd line minutes, as his offense is underrated. And next year watch for Buchnevich there as well. A line of Buch/Lindberg/Miller could be very good after a few years, though Buchnevich will be possibly a top liner eventually.
