totally on board with that. wes's injury was the dagger. BUT he is coming back from it, unknown if its going to be 100% or not but he still made it clear he was coming back. so it could be seen from both sides there. my thing is if you say you want to do all these things for this team and franchise, and then blow it up the next year, that's bull shit. injury or not, have the stones, be a man, and take over, step up and be a difference maker. he chose to tuck tail and run.
I faked every cheer LMA! Darius Miles met more to The Blazers! Your heart is full of diesel oil! WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME --- CALL ME! .... No, honestly, at this point I don't care. I pretty much just hate the Spurs at this point and hope everything bad in the world happens to them.
Some fans will rationalize why LMA broke his promise to P. Allen & N. Olshey to sign a 5 year deal with the Blazers. Fact: LMA betrayed PA & NO’s trust. Some fans will rationalize why LMA broke his promise to the fans to be the best Blazer ever. Fact: LMA betrayed the Blazer fans trust. However, neither of these were LMA’s worst betrayal. His worst betrayal is also the proof of what his says in this article about when he decided to move on from the Blazers is a complete lie. His worst betrayal was giving up in the middle of the playoff games. You never quit on your team, never, especially in the playoffs. Fact: LMA betrayed his own teammates trust. If you need further proof that LMA had decided to leave long before informing NO on July 3, at 3 pm? He refused to fly home with the team after the playoff games. He had already mentally checked out from his teammates. LMA has lied to and betrayed everyone involved with the Blazers organization. An now he is lying to us again in this article.
Is boo some new internet slang for blow job? If it is then yes, I totally see Canzano booing Aldridge. Multiple times.
By far and away I'm in the "apathy" and "silence" crowd. If it was at all possible to gain enough public support to pull this off I would be in the Moda for it, guaranteed. Yawning through the Spurs intro's and silently scrolling through my twitter TL every time LMA touched the ball. Please, that would be awesome.
I love the idea of the silent treatment or turning of the back,it would be classic, but it won't work. The way they announce the visiting team, the RG will have music in the background (who are you) and the announcer will announce each player pretty quickly . . . with often the crowd pretty much quiet with each player introduced. So if somehow you got the whole RG to remain quiet when LA is announced, you would still need the Blazer organization to be part of it and have the announcer pause for long time when LA is introduce (maybe even turn off the music when introduced) . . . otherwise it will be equivalent to when they introduce Leonard or some other spur (besides Duncan who usually gets a little cheering). On top of that add to the mix that the spurs are always represented at Blazers games with many of their fans showing up that it makes it near impossible to create what would be a great response (silence). I think the best hopeful response would be a very long drawn out chorus of boos that overwhelm the RG ( like times the refs were so bad the loudness of boos and length of time were incredible it was almost unreal). Of course the Blazers get introduced after and the boos will stop after that so the most I hope for is the announcer allows extra time for the boos before they announce the Blazers.
I think the best way for Blazers to show their distaste for LMA is for the PA guy to play the Bob Dylan song "Idiot Wind" at Moda. That is probably the most vindictive song in recorded history to an ex-partner and has been song by divorcees for decades. Dylan literally spits thw words out at you like a switch blade. Actually, now that I think about its a bad idea. It would cause a riot!
I think what he doesn't understand is, he might be booed every time he touches the ball forever, not just his first game back.
