If Ron Artest is complaining about the amount of touches he is getting in Sacramento, Then he would go ballistic in a Clippers uniform. I don't think they need a guy like Artest coming in and disrupting the solid future the Clippers have.Corey Maggette would be great in Sacramento, If the Kings can make a different offer to bring Maggette in that doesn't involve Ron Artest. I would go for it.

Although, I think deep down, he is more upset because the team isnt winning. That is what everything ultimatley results to. If he went to the clippers, I think that they would definitely be a better team, and they WOULD be a winning team, and they WOULD get in to the playoffs. I think that Sac. made a big mistake in letting Wells leave. I think that is why they are doing poorly this season.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I think that Sac. made a big mistake in letting Wells leave</div>I think that was more Wells doing then Sac since he turned down that 6 year deal. That blew up in his face as Sac already moved on.Regarding this trade, I think this trade is a wash and makes no sense to be done for each team's sake. Sac downgrades a bit in talent because Artest is unhappy, talent of whom isn't really the ideal person in LA right now. Clips upgrade but take on a guy whose worn out his welcome more then once. He's a risk and doesn't necessarily put the Clips over. The trade seems to be like were swap our unhappy player and hope the change of scenery works. Can't see it working and can't see the trade going.
this deal seems pretty iminent right now<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>27th December, 2006 - 11:34 am Los Angeles Times - According to sources, a Ron Artest for Corey Maggette trade could happen soon. Both teams appear eager to part ways with their small forwards. The players have similar contracts, so there aren't salary-cap problems to complete a deal. Artest is owed the remainder of his $7.5-million salary this season, is guaranteed $7.4 million next season and has a player option for $7.4 million in the 2008-09 season. Maggette makes $7 million this season, $7 million next season and also has a player option for $7 million in 2008-09.</div>- RealGM.com
Damn, that deal to me just ain't that good. But if it goes, I got no issues with it. Artest will just be somewhere else in a year or two. Maggs will probably get to start but he's a dropoff from Artest.
I think Artest wants to be in LA for a bigger market... it'd probably help his career as a rapper if he is still pursuing that.
