$573 for 82 single games for one team, vs $150 for league pass. Is that right?

I read on. Saves me $30 since i get a discount for early renewal. Thats something

$6.99 seems too high IMO. Especially if that includes watching commercials.

Yeah, I'm going to pay $$ by the game to watch teams that aren't the Blazers. Not.

Or you could watch a stream for free. There will be more and more illegal, and higher quality streams every year going forward. Its the same thing that happened with the music industry, but at least they got smart and started selling songs for 1$ per which is not that bad. 7$ though? pshhh

my issue with that is, I cant handle how bad the quality of picture it is, and buffering and ect ect. I am willing to pay some money to not have to deal with that crap.

you can find some pretty incredible streams from Dubai. Those guys have ten of thousands invested in their stream just cause they are rich and enjoy it.

but yeah, i usually pay for the 5 team pass and only watch blazer games with it so a 1 team option is cool. $7 a game is silly though if you plan on watching them all. hopefully this means I can watch the NBA tv and ESPN games that league pass likes to block but in all honesty I don't mind going to the bar on occasion for those ones.

I absolutely refuse to pay for cable and all the commercials they feed into the thing.

but i really like that with league pass i can go back and watch a game i missed or one i really enjoyed. cant do that with the illegal streams usually

$6.99 to order one NBA game is like ordering 3-4 movies. $6.99 is one month of having Netfix or Hulu Plus.

$200 bucks for pretty much every team/game the entire season really isn't a bad deal if you think about it, especially if you are an out of towner like me who watches pretty much every blazer game.

There are worse things to spend 200 bux on

$7 per game is a joke. It's probably that high so it gets people to just buy the whole thing.

They need to allow Southern Oregon to get Blazer games on LP again. I checked Tulelake, which is about 30 miles away and right across the border, and they can get their games. Where's the sense in that? The Kings and Warriors are blacked out here too, stupid.

I just download torrents of the games, that way i can easily fast forward all the crap (which is about 50% of any NBA game lol)

I dont think the $7 a game is really designed for you to buy it like that every game. I think its for the purpose of say your from Portland and you go out of town and there happens to be a damn good game not being shown anywhere in the city your at, you can buy the game for the sole purpose its a once in a blue moon thing you just happened to want to watch that particular game bc you were out of town or something..

Is this that difficult to understand?

Example. My wife is so much of a pain about sports that I would be more likely to buy a few games against good teams or when she is out of town or has to work late.

Nobody is forcing anyone to buy it but now I have the option of buying a few games on a whim.

Buying the 100 dollar season plan is like getting a gym membership and never going. Cheaper if you pay for long term but if you don't use it is it really cheap?

yeah i agree the 1 team thing is great for me. althought last year i split the 5 team with my brother in law and let him have 4 teams while i just watched blazers. im sure they will come up with a maximum device limit like netflix did.

I still feel bad for people in black out area though. When i lived in oregon i was fortunate to have comcast provided by the landlord or i would have really hated life trying to stream every game.

This is not true. "All the team's games . . . minus the ones on NBA TV (I don't have cable, that's why I get broadband) . . . minus L@ker games . . . minus Clipper games . . . . minus ESPN and national games (not that they will have many next year).

How about if the Blazers let their fans watch their games without holding us hostage to the devil Comcast? I spend over $3K a year for Blazer season tickets, but I can't even watch the road games without paying the evil empire. Not being able to watch almost half the games honestly makes me wonder if I want to keep my tickets either. If I can't get the games on Direct TV in the next few years I am done with the Blazers.
