    Per MLB ticker shown during Quick Pitch Joba was signed to a minor league deal by the Toronto Blue Jays.

    ...yeah, I saw that the Jays took a flyer on him...his fall from grace was precipitous.

    And our other old buddy D-rob gave up what turned out to be a GWRBI by Yadi. Looks like this season is proving that letting him (D-rob) go was a good move.

    ...though has not been lights out this year most of D-Rob's numbers are still well below his career numbers...but I still think he's performed better as a setup man as opposed to a closer...that seemed to be the case last year with the Yanx too when compared to the years he served as the set up man for Mo.

    Robertson never struck me as a closer, I just never saw that killer instinct that so many closers have.

    ...yeah, and like I said, the years he was the set up guy for Mo, he was almost automatic...and like this year, if the Yanx get to the 7-8th inning with the lead the game was pretty much over.
