...by giving Tex the night off for any and all SA games in Portland next season?

I could see that being 50/50. But here is the scenario I think will go down:

POP: So LMA, you ready to head back to Ptown?

    LMA: No.

Pop: we board the plane in two hours

LMA: Can I claim short term injury and miss the trip?

Pop: Well if Duncan wasn't 80 years old...

LMA: Okay I will make the trip, but maybe I don't have to play and can hang in the locker room? Portland has awesome locker rooms.

Pop: Don't you want to show them your the best?

    LMA: I already told them

    Pop: Now show them

LMA: uh...y'know... I think Im getting the flu....

No. I don't think Duncan will even play during the regular seasom. My only hope is that LMA takes the Blazers injury curse with him to SA. I am thinking about paying some clapped up skanks to go a few rounds with the Spurs bench though......

I think he'll play and the "Beat LA" chant will have a whole new meaning.

LMA will never play in Portland again, it is too far from his mother.

It's amazing how many racist stereotypes we let go in this forum...

A Dragon Lady is usually a stereotype of East Asian women as strong, deceitful, domineering or mysterious. The term's origin and usage is Western, not Chinese. Inspired by the characters played by actress Anna May Wong, the term comes from the female villain in the comic strip Terry and the Pirates.

Honestly, I was just using the term for hooker. I have no idea of any connotation outside of that. But I don't follow Slang Dictionaries like some people do.

Side note. The only Hollywood film where Anna Mae Wong DOESNT die is a Marlene Dietrich vehicle called Shangai Lilly. Of course, she plays a whore whose raped, but I guess Asian actors in the 30s couldn't be picky.

Impressed, third wave feminists looking for retro-cenophile role models in an attempt to revise history for a ready made PC, Brave New World pseudo - Utopia?

I can't stand the Texas Turncoat either. However, taking shots at his relationship with his mother is a low blow. You do remember she had cancer right?

I was born in the 70's to a single Black mother. That would make me 2nd wave. The bottom line is that you shouldn't complain about not getting to say racist things... Times have changed.

I don't use the word Gypped for the same reason. I gained perspective.

I'm not planning on using the word again. Just stating a piece of movie trivia. I have a very dry sense of humor.

Yes I did remember, even thought about it before posting. However, I also remember him saying very recently the reason he left Portland was to be closer to his mother.

If you still think I used poor judgement in this post, I will remove it, with no hard feelings.

What if I suggested he moved to Texas to be close to his mother so that she could take him tampon shopping? Would that make me sexist, or just crabby?

I would also ask that you also discontinue the use of the word "robbed", if you have not already done so, as I find it personally insulting.

My wife thinks calling a male a "pussy" is an offensive sexist stereotype. One more word to delete from our vernacular. Damn.
