Why does every NBA city in the league report more about what the Blazers are interested in doing than all of our Portland reporters put-together?

Well, Mo is no longer an option. I've been wracking my brains (and researching rosters) and I'm coming up dry. Who's left?

That video above was pretty good. His teammates love the guy. That is always a good sign. Or maybe it is just the whole Aussie thing where you feel compelled to sit down with the guy and have a few pints of Fosters, and throw some shrimp on the barbie.......Either way I think we could use his hustle off the bench. It could infectious.

The signing needs to happen for no other reason than Rice trying and failing to pronounce his name

he's australian so i have a natural brotherly hate for him being a kiwi, but i could handle it - aussie players are traditionally hard nosed and give it all. itd be nice to see more of that on the court imo.

Mo might score on Delly, but Delly could score on Mo all day. Dude couldn't guard a shopping mall

As much as I like and respect hustle players like him I don't think we should spend on him. Id rather wait until closer to the trade deadline and see about better options if we cant find something better before opening day.

I agree that $4M is a lot for the guy, but we have the slot and the money. And it would piss LBJ off....and Delly's fun to watch. That could be a big factor in a potentially long and dreary season

I think you are making good points about Dellavedova. Enough to make me pause. But at the same time signing him would give us another asset that we could later trade. Assuming the contract is around 4 million per year.
That could come in handy later on.

Unless I am right and we saw his 15 minutes of great play. We pick him up for $4 mil and he sucks then we cant get rid of him. Might be our first bad contract in my opinion.

I'd love to have Delly on the team. He'd instantly be one of the leaders. Great to have on a young team because of his hard work ethic both in the game, and off the court. He's the first to turn up to training, and the last to leave. He works so hard because his effort, and intensity are the only areas he's ever going to be better than anyone else at. Dame could learn a great deal from him about defensive effort. The other reason he'd be great for a young team is that he's basically like having a coach out on the floor.

Given how much the Cavs have done to keep LeBron happy, it would be very strange for them to let go a player he went out of his way to praise in the finals.

Because it's safer to make shit up about teams outside of your own media market?
