Baron Davis is the love child of Dennis Rodman and a walrus, and that makes Baron only half-alien.

Our galaxy alone as 200 billion stars. There are over 200 billion galaxies. You do the math. I think it's more nutty to think we are alone in the universe. There are more stars in the sky than grains of sand on every beach on our planet.

It's not the question of other life in this universe. It's that aliens are here abducting people.

The math makes it extremely probable that there is intelligent life beyond our solar system .

However, the same math also makes it very improbable that intelligent life from other solar systems can travel the extremely long distances to earth; or us to them.

Well, that's debatable because time and space can be bent. If another life is much more advanced, they could possess the technology to bend space. Getting from point a to point b could take less than an hour.

You have to imagine the endless possibilities. Since the universe is over 13 to 14 billion years old one has to imagine that the possibility of a race of intelligent beings that could be a million years old or more. We would be like ants to them. Or if you're a Trekkie like me you'd have to imagine us as a type 0 society that hasn't evolved past using our finite resources.

Yup. It's far more likely that "faster-than-light" technology is possible, than our ~3000 year-old math being the be-all-end-all of space travel.
I also tend to put more stock in the words of NASA astronauts, Air Force pilots, and commercial pilots than internet skeptics...or gen pop abductees.

Our own scientists "Einstein" proved, with math, that space and time can bend. Did you not learn this?

My limited understanding is, Einstein calculated gravity is actually warps and curves in the fabric of space and time. And that ripples in the gravity bend space and time.

However, Einstein also calculated the bending of space and time travels at exactly the speed of light.

Does this not imply that traveling at the speed of light is still an accurate measurement of time for traveling long distances between galaxies?

The nearest star is over 4 light years away. The most distant object discovered by astronomers is 13.2 billion light years away. So pack a big lunch when you ride the bend in time and space.

I could be wrong, but my understanding is space and time bends have already been observed, so it's 100% possible. And even if you can't travel faster than the speed of light, you can bend space to make something 100 million light years away is only 100 feet apart once bent.

It takes a heavy object to bend space and time. The heavier the object, the more space and time will bend.

Your best chance to experience bent space time travel is to have sex with Rosie O’Donnell. Plus, since she is also an alien, she would make an excellent space travel guide.

It sounds like you're disagreeing with something I wrote, but I'm not sure what. If it's the "faster-than-light" travel, I put that in quotations to denote that it's not really faster than light - but, while we may not physically be moving faster than light, the end results is that we've traveled a distance faster than light could make the same journey.
Also, everything on our end is theoretical. But that doesn't mean that another civilization doesn't already have the technology to travel from one end of the galaxy (or universe) to the other in the blink of an eye.
There are too many accounts from credible sources for me to believe that another civilization hasn't already visited this planet.

Okay maybe I assumed something different with what you said. I thought you thought it was highly improbable that we've been visited by a advanced alien race because we couldn't travel faster than light.

But let's get real here. Abduction by aliens?

    Nope, just the opposite.
I don't know if I've heard an abduction story that I've believed. But I'm not willing to say that it hasn't happened.

Ace Freehly once said he saw some space aliens. I had to pause for a second. If there was guy who could talk to aliens from another world, it's Ace.
