<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Yes, I am saying he can. He wouldn't be champ and carrying matches for this long if he wasn't.</div>He's marketable, that's why he's champion. You can't tell me right now WWE even cares about pure wrestling because they don't. It's entertainment, that's why he's champ. Women and children scream his name for a reason. His wrestling ability is not that great. Those two demographics overlook ability and bandwagon more then anything(this toned down DX for example). <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I stopped watching WWE about a year ago, but at the time John Cena had the world in his hands. That guy is an icon for his showmanship, not his wrestling.
Only wrestlers I know are Andre the Giant, Sting, Undertaker, Mankind, The Rock, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Some semi old schoolers.
Well if you want to be gramtically correct, only one that can really wrestle is Kurt Angle. But John Cena is one of the few that WWE has that can actually put on a good match. Undertaker is by far the best the company has right now. He can have a specatcular match with someone that can't put on a show to save their life (Ken Kennedy, the Last Ride match). If you know anything about wrestling, you don't have to be a good wrestler to put on a good wrestling match. Actual wrestling isn't what they do in the ring, it's what the high school and college guys do on that round mat. So if you're going to say John Cena can't wrestle, include the greats like The Rock and all of them.

Look at Chris Benoit, Bret Hart, these guys have great ring psychology and can put on a better display of moves then guys like Cena. Cena matches are predictable and stale because of the setup behind the moves(and by setup I mean how he does one move that you know follows to another). If your telling me those matches are enjoyable, your drinking the WWE kool-aid. WWE has become dull. I agree with the Undertaker, he's a great worker and still takes bumps. He also is a decent wrestler for his size and that makes him that much better. Cena can't say any of that imo. I suggest you watch ROH to see how wrestling matches should be done. They showcase an arsenal of moves and make matches enjoyable to watch. None of those 5 minute squash matches you see on WWE at times. Right now the only thing WWE showcases wrestling wise is the Intercontinental matches on Raw, Smackdown matches especially in the tag division. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>So if you're going to say John Cena can't wrestle, include the greats like The Rock and all of them.</div>The Rock can wrestle when given the ability. Look at his earlier matches like his debut at Survivor Series.
Cena isn't the best showman in the ring ever (I call it showman b/c 90% of the wrestlers can't wrestle anyways), but he is one of the better ones that WWE has.

WWE has talented wrestlers who aren't showcased and given the ability to perform. It's just WWE feels the need to showcase bigs who sell rather then perform. Like for example, Daniel Rodimer is expected to come and get a main event push when he debuts. The guy has only been training since August and is very green, much so like Bobby Lashley. But yet this guy comes in and already gets a top spot because of his look. That's crap and shits on the other guys who have been in the biz longer.
What dyall think of it now? I almost bought it tonight, and had it been like 40 or less I would've. It was 50 so I said 'F*ck it' and bought the godfather instead.
Its pretty old now, but I play it here and there but it's really boring after a few weeks with it. Thats the thing about the WWE games, they are boring after you beat it.. And I beat them in a short amount of time. But Yeah, game was pretty tight and it's always 50 bucks... dunno what u where thinking.
It is nothing new from the last WWE game I had, which was Wrestlemania X8... what's that, 5 years old? 4? But yeah, seriously there is very few upgrades as far as gameplay goes.
its a good game. I have it for the PS2 id give it an 8/10Goods-GraphicsMatch ChoicesRosterAnalog ControlBads-Announcers say the wrong thingsLoading takes longHardcore Matches should be with more weapons and more places to wrestle.
