Flores went to the Tom Brady School of Crying..........

Flores was seen wiping away tears as he fielded his position in the eighth inning of the Mets game against the San Diego Padres. At the time, Flores believed he had been traded from the team he had joined as a teenager. However, the deal turned out to be only a rumor....

Sandy Alderson told reporters after the Mets 7-3 loss that there had been no trade. Manager Terry Collins said he didn’t even know why Flores was crying.

"You think these guys are stone-cold robots. They're not," Collins said. "They're human beings and they have emotions."

Jeezus Christ, WTF is wrong with these Athletes, did they not get the Memo in High School, or Pop Warner, Little League also; crying is NOT allowed, in this game. When things get tight and hairy, that's when the measure of a man's mind and self-esteem; is exposed. Is this generation, not been taught its only a Multi-Million $$ game, while crying is not allowed, at all......

No need for worry, from what I saw that deal is off. Speaking of off, the GMs are wheels making deals this week, but the Yankees "big wheel" is off of the rim and the road. Collins, that guy seems a bit out of it.

...not sure it was the Metss who screwed up...because we're not sure who actually leaked the trade prematurely and that's what created the problem.

...still feel bad for the kid though...not a fan of the Mets organization but they can count themselves lucky the trade fell through...Carlos Gomez is a head case.

I was thinking the same thing, I wouldn't want this loose cannon on my team.

If I were a MLB Manager and a player of mine was to be traded and the GM did not inform me I'd probably be worried about my own job. Gotta be pretty embarrassing to be uninformed.

You just had to feel bad for this kid because someone leaked something.

...not sure, but I don't think Collins was informed by the GM because it was never a "done deal.

I feel bad for the kid but I feel even worse for him that his parents had to name him after a Flintstones character. WILMA? seriously.
