You have an extra " mark in your name, and your spelling/grammar needs work. ;)

Welcome, whoever you are!

THE is supposed to be capitalized, rook.

50 games would not be good enough to be a WCF contender.

"KingOfMagnifiedSpeed" is a pretty good handle for a super homer thread, I'll give you that.

I'm kind of partial to "SheedSoNasty". Love that name. :)

Did you ever know that you're my hero?

One of my biggest fears is that they will win the 8th seed in the west and miss out on a good lottery pick. However, if a group of guys this young does that then maybe you could argue they really don't need the pick.

Exactly the point I've made several times. I'd rather have a good group of young players with room to grow than add a top-5 pick to a pile of crap.

Exactly!!! If we actually make the playoffs with the youngest team in the NBA (without Kaman), then there is much more upside. That would mean a couple players of the Vonleh, Leonard, Plumlee, CJ and Alexander have stepped up their game drastically.

Being a bottom feeding team would mean those players are a long way from being a contributor in the NBA

And that's where I disagree. We have a bunch of guys who are, or could become, solid 4th-8th men. The question is whether any of them can join Dame as our 1-3 option. We can find solid contributors and still be a "bottom feeder" in a very competitive WC. This is not going to be a one year rebuild.

We can agree to disagree then

Substitute "LA" for Dame, and that entire paragraph was applicable to the summer of 2012. Guess what we saw then.

A one-year rebuild.

No one will expect us to make the playoffs. If we do make it, we'll be Cinderella story of the season

Are you talking about Kamloops?
