    MLB stated Mitchell will start, River Avenue Blues states Sabathia. RAB also stated Pineda could be gone 4-8 weeks. Crock of shit at this time of the year. Wonder what Cashman is doing about all this?

    In all fairness you cannot just invent a trade out of thin air or insist somebody trades with you. I don't want some starter for the simple fact that he could throw the ball. Another Capuano is not the solution. We knew they weren't getting a Hamels or Price so not going to act upset about it.

    ...there were/are other pitchers...and if this team is fortunate enough to get to the PS, the starting rotation is not good enough to take them to the ultimate goal.
