In all fairness I really don't see the need to turn a thread into a ditch based on an age question. He's 21 and been in the organization since 18.
I don't know who personally attacked you I just asked you an INNOCENT question. An answer would be nice.
...it wasn't a personal attack so stop crying...it was a factual observation based on things you've actually said. ...I merely applied your statements and your logic.
No need to be confused. Granted a manager tries to make his players perform at their optimum. The older players, we have observed, need days off in order to perform; there are several players who have performed well below average, and it is apparent that these players are not being moved.......this is not Girardi's job. I believe the GM must improve the team. HE HAS NOT IMPROVED THE TEAM. How long will Girardi be able to help the likes of a Stephen Drew, a Brendan Ryan, a Garrett Jones, a CC Sabathia? These players are killing the team's chances to progress. Since Cash man made no moves says volumes that "his plan" is to keep moving pieces within the organization and not pull the trigger for outside help. Will this team make the playoffs with all the ? marks on this Yankee team? If they don't.....how does Cash man survive again?
^^^this was the point I was trying to make...the coach can only do so much with the talent he is given...and Cashman is solely responsible for the current roster. ...you can't polish a turd.
...mess, I really cannot believe he stood pat...the Jays, O's, Astros, Giants, Dodgers, Royals, and Rangers, all got better. ...I don't have a "warm and fuzzy" feeling going forward this year. Has the goal suddenly gone from winning it all to simply being content with winning the division?
Caged, the coach is responsible for the players performance , now there has to be an understanding of this statement, can he control what a player does on the field , absolutely not, but Girardi is under a lot more pressure because of the salaries some of the players are making. Cashman can only make a move with the owners consent, do we know what goes on behind the scenes, absolutely not, but common sense should tell us that he is playing with someone else's money, and there has to be limitations, if no move was made, it's because ownership feels the Yankees have enough, I believe this team healthy , does have enough .
...meh, I don't see a problem really. ...I mean a simple Google search will easily answer the questions that were posed...but whatever.
i see servino is to start vs sox says cashman, so there you go , no significant move was necessary cause they have enough in org.
I saw nothing in this thread that was out of line. Pasta never answered my simple question & Severino has been called up so its all good in Yankee land.
