    Making sound like a retirement....transfer of power to Kennedy. Haven't seen any other back story yet.

    ...that's pretty much what I was thinking too...if the Sox were winning I doubt he'd he'd still stepping down.

    There are a lot of business guys that want to get out at 70...time will tell if he makes any more changes. I could see it go both ways....do nothing and let Kennedy make the changes to his organization. Or blow up everything and be the bad guy and take the hit so Kennedy gets a fresh start.

    The CEO slot is gonna be open, so question is will Henry get more involved? Mgr to GM to Pres to CEO to Owner? That's top heavy.
