...in the past Cashman has always had the luxury of simply pulling out the checkbook and using money to fix problems.
Looks like we should just fire Cashman NOW, and not wait for the Yanks to drop out of a 6 game FIRST PLACE lead into oblivion.
... the Yanx called up Severino because they had to due to an injury not because they necessarily wanted to. ...obviously I'm pulling for the kid but the Yanx may be giving him a trial by fire. ...he may do well 1st time through the order but the real litmus test will come later.
They [ Cashman mostly & Girardi ] are real smooth talkers. They have claimed that Severino is not a one shot deal. I'll believe them, regardless how he pitches Wednesday, when he stays on the 40 man roster. With Pineda on the DL (could be more than one month), CC in decline and struggling to pitch 5 innings.....team needs starters who can pitch 7 or 8 innings. Yankees starters will wear out the bullpen before getting into the home stretch. Will Severino be an answer. If not, Cashman has many questions to answer. My question will be: How are you still the Yankee GM?
