WSOF Middlweight Champion Rousimar Palhares, who has tested positive for elevated test and been suspended before for misconduct, has been stripped and suspended following his victory over Jake Shields this past weekend. Palhares was accused of eye-gouging and holding a submission hold too long and after reviewing the footage, WSOF President Ray Sefo has decided to reprimand the fighter, who had previously been warned that WSOF would have "zero tolerance". His suspension is indefinite.
There are only a few guys in the sport who are legit dirty and Toquinho is one of them. I think either he has a sub-normal IQ or he is a psychopath.
Palhares is a sociopath. I'm glad the WSOF did the right thing and stripped him of the title and suspended him. I do not think we will see him fight in a legitimate organization again. He is too much of a liability to other fighters.
