The score is 100-97 with 1.9 seconds left in the fourth quarter.Your team is losing and _________ just shot a 3-pointer, missed and was fouled. He has three shots at the free throw line.Who do you want at the line? (Don't limit this to your particular team, I mean any NBA player you would pick to be at the line)
Pierce, he's so clutch at the line when needs to be. 21/21 against Indiana a few years back in their first playoff game. He does only shoot around 80-82% though, so maybe you'd want some who shoots a little higher percentage. But it seems like he always makes them when he has to.
Not even being biased - but Chauncey billups for Sure.He has a free throw percentage above 90% and he is damn clutch. He's Big Shot Billups.

All time - Reggie Miller (the greatest clutch performer ever (but he wouldn't have missed the three though ))Current players - Steve Nash
Ray Allen, hands down. This guy's 91 % shooting average is just amazing, plus he is a very good clutch free throw shooter. I dont see him miss many shots, unless he is ahead by a good leade in certain game.

He's the best PG in the league so he's already used to calming the team down when the other team is making a rally, etc. He just seems like the player who can calm himself down and on top he's a 90% FT shooter. No better choice than that.

He's been a lot better over the past few years. His percentage dropped a little this year, but I'm attributing that to the new ball. He was definitely having trouble with it early in the season.

I remember, the game was close, and he got kicked off in the 4th quarter of a close game in the playoffs. not clutch at all.

It was a bullsh** call, he had very little help that year, he was frustrated, I can't blame him. The general consensus around the league is that Paul is one of the best clutch shooters, I don't think you can argue with that.

I understand that, but I don't think you can base whether or not he's clutch on one playoff game in which he got ejected, it's not as if he's the first player to do that and hurt his team.
