Added Kessel, Fehr, Bonino, Cullen, Plotnikov

Said goodbye to Sutter, Adams, Downie, Spaling, Winnik

Looks like they improved their offense but their defense is thin

They have tons tied up in forwards. They figure they will outscore everyone I guess.

There defense is not that thin. Maata and Pouliot are elite, young defenseman talents. Letang has his faults but he's still a top 4 guy. Scuderi and Erhoff are solid vets. Who knows what they will do. The one thing I know is that this team will not complete with Glass on the 4th line and Boyle in the lineup over McIlrath. This team gets no offense from its 4th line and the defense is soft as butter.

Come on Mess, if we got rid of Glass I think we'd win the cup. That is the key for us next season. Get rid of our 12th forward.

The Pens will be the Pens. They have talent. They have 2 of the top 5 or so players in the NHL. They are dangerous as usual.

As for us, I have some concerns. I like our team but I also know we have a lot of ifs that need positive answers for us to be the team we all hope we are. In 8 or 9 weeks we'll start to get some answers.

Mcilrath will most likely end up on waivers after training camp. Unfortunate but i just don't see him earning a spot. Maybe he would clear and they could keep him or trade him to a young team for a mid-round pick.

at the very least they should show glass the door and make McIlrath the 4th line goon. Will probably generate more offense than glass

Kessel is going to score goals, it's just a matter of how many Phil gives back with his defensive indifference. The question for the Pens is whether this group will play better postseason than last year's.
