Very cool, commendable MM..! Both my parents were raised in orphanages during the Dust Bowl days. To take in teens is a rare thing, they usually get ignored in the system with folks wanting toddlers to adopt. Again, congrats to you and your family!

Is it juse me, or is there a sitcom in this? Multi-racial family, dad with half a brain but a really big heart. On second thought, MM, you should pitch this as a reality TV show. Maybe there's a spot for Kingspeed or HCP in there somewhere? Seriously, though, the world needs more families like yours. Congrats and best wishes.
It's almost 2 weeks now, and here is an update. Michael has been having some violent outbursts. Once with me and once with my oldest son (mediocre boy) who is 14. My son knows krav maga and is also taking jujutsu, so he can handle himself. I told Michael he should consider this his jome for as long as he wants, but I will not tolerate violence. Strike 1 Stella has been great, so far. Nothing brow raising to this point. She is bi-lingual so my son and daughter are teying to talk to her in her native tongue to help ease her. My daughter is all but fluent and my son fails and gets laughed at, but hes learning.
I could post daily. Lots going on. Nothing significant. School started, they are behind their grade level.
