    I'm glad we tied it up & got the kid off the hook but again it took the HR & with only 4 hits in this game after getting only 3 in the last game this offense is just pathetic of late.

    "Looks like Gardner got a DECENT jump". Truth is, he got a lousy jump. I mean hell, the ball was bounced to 2nd & he was still out.

    Gardner and his "speed" is an enigma. He just cannot
    steal. Slides too early and never reaches the base.

    Besides, he has brain block on the bases.

    There's a whole lot of "brain block" on this club.

    Here's a problem I have, knowing you have the weak hitting Drew coming up in the inning why would you use Young to pinch run when he could have pinch hit for Drew.
