Ok, I have tried my best not to jump on the "Sky is Falling" bandwagon but you have to admit, our boys are making it a little impossible not to start to lean in that direction. My first issue is with Girardi. I would normally not complain, but running is a big part of a game. This statement goes back to the 2 knuckleballers we faced in the last few days. For us old farts, one way to beat the Niekro's, Perry's, Wilbur Wood, and Wakefield's were to run on them. Billy Martin would hit and run, outright steal and help a struggling offense. Girardi excuse of not wanting to take the bat out of Arod and Tex's hands is complete bullshit. They use to joke about Earl Weaver and the 3 run homerun right, well that is what Girardi has become. Second, Didi has been more than I expected and I am pleased with his development, but I am split on Drew, 14 HR 30+ RBI's compared to a Chase Utley. Is that the answer. Rys deserved a better chance than he got. If not, I was ok with staying still at the trade deadline, but it may have cost us this year for many years ahead. And finally, teams get hot, and teams get cold. Toronto is hot, were are frozen. I don't like the 3 man bench, with Base jammers like Arod, McCann, and maybe Headly because of leg, it forces us to play station to station to often, and Ellsbury has shit the bed. Since coming back, it makes you wonder if he isn't hurt or needs contacts. We need a win tonight and tomorrow night. Otherwise "The Sky Is Falling"

...^^^fwiw, you would think that if you have someone like Gardner or Ellsbury on 1B, stealing 2B/3B should be a breeze considering a knuckle ball pitcher only throws about 70-80 MPH.

Hizzy to Dizzy ^^^^ you are right, everything is to the runner advantage, even the catcher catching the pitch. But not our monuments..

Is this along the lines of "You want on that wall, you need me on that wall" lol. Hey Rick, good to see you and all the guys. I thought one or 2 of you, "Don't want to mention any names, would be serving lifetime sentences by now. I miss you guys. Hey honestly, what you guys have been posting all year I agree with so no need to comment. Anyways, I have been laid up with my first kidney stone. I'm convinced a woman created the procedure to laser and extract. So I'll be around for as long as the pain medication last.

I'm an old pro with those Frank, if they're small enough the'll pass, if not there's something called lithotriposy (forgive the spelling) I've had it done 4 times. Its just laser where the stones are blasted so the'll be easier to pass. Good luck.
